I grew up on Abbey Road on the River Nidd until 1981. I live in Orange County, California now but visit often. I remember as a kid how high the water would get. If anyone of you know some of my friends from aspen park, send'em my link. I'm looking for Steven Tremble, Stuart Hislop, Paul Fenton, Steven Tipping, Jonathan Thornton or James Barton. My name is Justin Walker. Thanks.

KIDENTITY is based in knaresborough. We presented a show on the viaduct (glad the trains were cancelled that day). Beautiful town is knaresborough, some of our presenters cycle up Abbey Road, lovely place that.
i remember this i took some videos to but the worst one was last year at starbeck we got half of a tropical storm that droped hard plus i was hurt that day. anyway great video keep up the good work and lets hope this dont happen to my home town again
Carl - You took a natural disaster and made it look like a thing of beauty. The water flowed fluidly to the music which was very well chosen. It's too bad it caused such destruction but the video was great. Good job! Hey, it's me, Suko.
Hi Carl, I haven't been on the forums lately. I have a lot of trouble posting there and to be honest, I'm spending a lot of my free time getting The Matinee bits and pieces together but I'm enjoying it. I do read the posts, your's included. And I love my UK Talk friends. Your friend, Suko

I used to live in K'boro and it seems since I've left you've displaced the river - it's supposed to be between the banks, you know.
