  • Does this guy not know that the poster he is using has been taken out of textbooks due to errors and a change in what evolutionists are now teaching.

  • @jlsmijan Are you unaware that its to give an idea of how much time we're talking about?

    How many generations passed?

How gradual and unnoticed the change was and why it wasn't noticed?

  • @corthew I am aware of that, however, if the beginning creature from which man supposedly evolved did not resemble the ape walking upright that is shown in the picture, the entire point is lost. I do fail to see how this solves the problem of no transitional species existing.

  • @jlsmijan I'm not understanding what you mean by "no transitional species existing".

The bible describes man as a transitional species.

Or did you think Japanese and Anglosaxon and African, etc people just always existed?

  • @corthew I suppose that would depend upon the word 'species'. I think species refers to: "An individual belonging to a group of organisms (or the entire group itself) having common characteristics and (usually) are capable of mating with one another", so no, I do not consider each race a different species.

  • @jlsmijan No but it is transitional.

If it wasn't, different races would either not be possible or else you would have a Chinese couple giving birth to an Anglosaxon kid.

Eventually, if any of those races were to be isolated for a few thousand generations, you would end up with a different species that was no longer able to cross-breed with those it was isolated from.

We see this occur in nature already. Its not a theory. The theory is in understanding all of its facets.

  • @jlsmijan thats great where are the fossils and proof for all those yaers of humans you just showed us. we have none and we should have millions

  • @nacho2354 We have millions but if creationism was correct we should have none. You've been visiting the wrong museums.

I did a follow up to this video, here: /watch?v=KQ5_oZbcP7o which shows a few of the millions.

And I'll post that video as a video reply to this one so you can just click on it.

  • People who believe in evolution cant prove it. That is why they call anyone who questions the theory ignorant. Name calling proves they have zero facts to back their ideas.

  • @darkfur35 The bible describes evolution. Every race of humans evolved from a single pair.

But you'll never see a Chinese couple giving birth to a Swedish baby.

I guess that means we didn't all come from Adam and Eve after all.

  • @darkfur35 we have fossils of transitional species of humans. how about that for zero evidence. its more than you can say for any god.

  • Evolution is a bad fairy tale.

  • Evolution is just a big farce.

  • @darkfur35 Interesting. And what is your evidence that it is accurate and correct not to believe in evolution?

  • @darkfur35 What makes you think you are qualified to say, "Evolution is just a big farce."?

Do you have a degree in evolutionary biology? Are you a published scientist on the subject in question?

Do you even know anything about it other than the warped, dishonest and desperate conjecture you no doubt gravitate towards in order to protect your archaic and ignorant world view.

Until you produce evidence to corroborate your assertion and win a Nobel prize for it you will remain an ignorant fool

  • For anyone interested, I'd refer you to Philhellenes' "65 million years with a creationist". watch?v=_sxh_L1LUNk

  • @puncheex Thanks for that. At the end it almost brought a tear.:)

  • Genetic studies of mitochondrial DNA have traced all of humanity to a single tribe in Africa. It is interesting that everyone (well almost) is willing to accept that a single tribe was the root of the rich diversity of humans we see on earth today, but not accept that different species could have arrived by similar mechanisms, of environment modifying characteristics, over a greater length of time. I just can't understand.

  • @hisnameisfrankie: It would be more accurate to say that we suspect that H. sapiens roots originated close the the tribe of the San people. They have the greatest diversity of mutation markers known, though that is compelling, but not conclusive evidence.

  • The q of transitional species comes down to what ppl choose to believe. If B is advanced as a transitional species between A and C, some will ask 2 more species to fill the 2 gaps created between AB and BC. Animals are found that fill those gaps, some will ask for species to fill the 4 new gaps created, and so on. There are no cats or dogs, humans looked out into the world, saw things with different characteristics, and assigned names for convenience based only on what they could see.

  • Neandertals were killed by us because we're bastards.

  • Ha Really?? Just another set of Ernst Haeckels circa 1834 faked drawings if you ask me -just more current "morphed" version.

  • @maimaiem Yes, they were morphed.

I'm guessing you didn't read the description of the video.

I wasn't attempting to show an accurate depiction of the evolutionary process.

But it is an accurate representation of how slowly evolution works.

It shows how long it takes.

It shows why you can only notice the changes over very long time-frames spanning hundreds of generations.

  • Beautiful!

  • CORTHEW, if u believed with ur 'transitional speacies',,,,then i should not call u corthew anyway,, i should call u MONKEY , GODZILLA, BABOON, BERUK MAK NYE,,,

hope u dont feel hurted!! if u feel hurted, then,ur idea to accept the transitional species soooo rubbish!!!

  • Actually, I'm also descended from simple crystalline structures if you go back far enough.

Reproduction doesn't just occur with sentient lifeforms.

Nor does it only occur with carbon-based life forms.

Nor does it only occur with what we consider to be life.

Crystals reproduce as long as they have the ingredients they need for that reproduction...just as sentient beings do.

That we are sentient even, is no more dependent on the supernatural than the formation of crystals.

  • That sure was a nifty demonstration of the process. Well done.

  • darwin is not real.........

  • I heard God created Darwin to rub the creationists' faces in their stupidity.:)

  • Insulting people only proves lack of character.......

  • What? You don't mean you're a creationist do you?

Surely no creationist would try to play the "can't prove god isn't real" game by saying the same about Darwin.

  • I have never seen darwin or heard his voice..........do you know anyone that has seen him........

  • Nope and you are right...I cannot prove he exists.

    Maybe he doesn't.:)

But I still love his insights. They explain so much more about the world I live in now than the supposedly "Good Book".

  • @darkfur35 huh? as aronra said '' you can't even prove gravity'' to someone like you. since u can't see it nor had any one seen it before nor heard its voice.

btw u CAN prove his existence there are pictures of him, his book is enough to prove he existed. his theory couldn't have come from nowhere. we have a full understanding of his life and how he came up with the theory of evolution.

i don't see the point from ur comment -,-

  • @darkfur35: ...not in your world, at least.

  • Mr crocoduck is a transitional species alright, I don't think it's anything to do with the human species though.

  • @FordPrefect23: Certainly it doesn't. Nor has it come closer to either a duck or a croc that someone's hard drive. It probably has an alarm clock in it's belly.

  • neato. But you need to use more then 4 pics.

what is the name of that program. I wanna give this a try.

  • There's a link to it in the description

  • Wonderful!

  • excellent video! excellent

  • Yes this video highlights the main problem that Creationists have. They have no concept of time especially a long time.

  • Excellent video as always!

  • SICK REMOVE THIS PERVERTED VIDEO

  • Yes, yes!

Can't have people knowing the truth now, can we. :)

  • batmanzerozeromatrix, what makes you think this video is perverted? It appears to match all the known observations we have made about the universe.

  • But if we don't encourage folks to have sex with animals how will we advance our species?

  • Good point great insight and intellect truly unbelievable.

  • This video is awesome. If anyone has a problem with the truth of evolution I feel sorry for you.

  • 5 stars, great video

  • gone to my favorites.....

and ohh yeah 5 stars...... keep going Corthew

  • A very well put together video, corthew. Hopefully this can be translated into other languages so that people who don't have access to education regarding the truth of evolution will begin to get a better idea of how it works. Priests and other religious leaders are working diligently to keep their flocks as ignorant as possible so they'll continue believing the centuries-old lies about Adam & Eve and creationism generally. This video provides a great service to our future Earth society. Thanks.

  • great video a fuckn priest came to my house the other day and said why havent we changed this is perfect for that basterd

  • GEICO! Tell me whose watchin ya ..

  • So 150 generation is how long? About 2000 years? 1 second = 60,000 years?

  • That is correct.

  • Very, very well done!

  • Nice!

ps--I knew it was KC right away; now give me my lolipop! :-P

  • Praise from aronra is praise indeed

    5/5 & subed

  • Great video, 5/5 subscribed :)

  • Fantastic video.

I've really wanted to present an argument like this, but I never knew how to do it.

  • That is awesome. Great job!

  • 5 stars, very well done. i would like to see something based on this idea but with a twist. Try using say 4 intermediate species, each species say 5 million years apart, and see if any of the intermediates of those intermediates matches or is similar to any of the species which fill those 5 million year gaps.

  • Fived and favorited, and you know LOTs of us are going to use your animation in our own videos. Thanks for you original contribution.

  • You're welcome, and you're welcome. :)

  • Agree, 5 ***** ... Great video. Thanks

    Peace

    Von

  • I am uncertain of the scientific value of this computer model based on artistic renderings, but IT CERTAINLY IS VERY ILLUSTRATIVE.

Thank you for such a beautiful illustration and reflection.

  • P.S.: 5/5.

  • Very clever idea!

  • Kudos, this is a very well done illustration on species transition.

  • The picture analogy is helpful as well, take a picture of yourself every day for 30 years then at the end of the 30 years randomize them and try to put them in order starting from day one. Any two consecutive pictures are going to be indistinguishable but theres going to be an obvious difference between the first and last pictures.

  • A very eloquent way of describing transitions in species.

    Great video!

  • very well done! thanks for posting.

  • Good Work :)

  • The code?

    You mean the utility?

I posted a link to their website in the description.

  • will you publish the code?
