  • My life has been dedicated to destroyin annotations....

  • Nice review Bro! I really like your bigotes. Sick wit it!!!

  • WTF SPRINGCOLS (gay)

  • Who else turned off annotations?

  • U Bring Disrespect to the name of kirk hammety

  • Is this guitar better than Epi Special II?

  • @MrDracoMen get an ltd . i have had multiple ibanez and epi. ltd play circles around them

  • Shave that mustache

  • IM SORRY MAN BUT YOUR FUCKING LAME

  • YOU REALISE THIS A,P IS FOR METAl?

  • Twangy's not a made up word? What are you smoking, it's actually used very often in telecaster reviews XD

  • why the fuck get a high gain amp for low gain songs?

    btw

    PLAY SOME METALLICA

  • BLAH BLA BLA................

  • nice review dude ;)

  • FUCK IT! Because it's aimed at beginners, it's beginners who always review. I am learning NOTHING from these people. This being your first electric, gives you nothing to compare it with.

  • this is ugly

  • im lookin in to gettin this guitar, is it good? PLEASE REPLY

  • hm)that amp is a real shiit(because this thing is really destroy the true guitar sound!>_<)))))) throw it from the window and buy a real good tube amp!;)

  • Thanks for the review, I'm looking to buy a guitar like this as my first electric as well as soon as I get the money together.

  • fuck

  • ... you suck

  • Thankies for the video man if your looking for some string's you should buy some fender ones as theyre rather good :D

  • If you ever took english in highschool, the same rules apply. Don't open your video titled ''guitar review'' with the words ''I'm now going to review a guitar.''

    Everybody says the word Twangy

And you're reviewing a heavy metal amp, with a heavy metal guitar. Why do you own an metal amp and metal guitar if you're gona play all these power puff girl themes ad emo rock songs?

  • This guitar is for heavy metal.

  • Is it heavy? i have one and i don't think so... Try a gibson les paul to see what heavy is..

  • i hate this amp, it has an aweful hiss all of the time even on the clean channel and its just the worst amp someone couldve bought, but at least it was a good begginer amp, sorta

  • youre gay..

  • It's a kirk hammett amp... maybe stop playing your shitty soft music and actually play metal. Haha good ahead and delete this comment you dickhead.

  • hey dude , i have a question. i want to buy that amp 2. has it a good clean and overdrive channel?

  • What's up with most of us Ibanez players getting Randall amplifiers? I have an Ibanez SZ520QM Color: LBT with a flame inlay on the 12th fret and a Ibanez Prestige SZ4020FM Color:TKF and a Randall G3PLUS RH300 amplifier...My SZs' are heavier than the GAX, I know since I used to own one(My first guitar). SZ guitars are not heavy, or I guess I'm used to the weight. You should have bought a Marshall since I don't see you playing anything heavy with distortion on your KH-15.

  • if you want to play funk blues or in the clean channel so bay an marshall or whatever, but no Randall KH 15. This Amp is built for playing hard rock and heavy distortion and high gain on 9 or even 10 not on 3 or 4. My advice: bay an Marshall MG 15 CDR for warm clean and a cool funky sound.:D :P

  • Lol, 0 mid? You idiot! A guitar is a MID RANGE instrument, so scooping of all the mids! Leaves you with the frequencies you'd tend to roll of when recording. Scooping is a stupid technique.

  • i have the gax 30 in red they are really good

  • this is the first "amateur" review I see on youtube that's clear, makes sense and it is really what the title sais: a review.

    great job!

  • hey dude , great clear explanation nice video !

  • Nice dude, the guitar i personally don't like it but the amp is on my wishlist haha.

maybe you missed to test full overdrive 'cause it was designed for distortion.

    but your review is ok.

    greets

  • You must be live under a rock if you think you made up the word "Twangy"!

  • ahahahahah incredibile! i've got a randall kh-15 and a ibanez gax30! amazing coincident

  • GAX30 and handmade tube amp:

    /watch?v=r6qyVCWQaDI

  • @Fruscification

stop being a such a pussy. it's not like the guitar is 50 pounds. and plus the guitar actually looks nice in person. and who cares if hte amp looks weird? no one's gonna critique you just cuz of your amp

  • not too much oversrive why buy this amp =/

  • oh dear i hope youve learnt a metallica song for the amp

  • 3 questions: 1- How much did you pay for the amp? 2- Is it pretty accurate in replicating Kirk's rhythm and lead tones? 3- Do you know what it sounds like with a wah pedal?

  • @JTum89 1) He said it was around $89 or £55 2) It has two presets kh clean and kh overdrive with boost 3) Im not sure it has a pedal input jack soooo

  • i saw this guitar at my city music store it was really beautiful and a friend that has it told me it has a clean sound too, i'm going to start taking guitar lessons the next week for the very first time so i would like to buy a guitar with a clean sound and the guitars i have in mind are these: 1)fender stratocaster RW bullet c/tremolo, 2) yamaha eg112 3) ibanez gax30 4)behringer iAXE624 i never been into guitar before so i hope you could help me thanks a lot...

  • For Me I Think For A Beginner I Prefer To You Ibanez GAX30 Or Yamaha EG122 i Started With Those They Have A Great Clan Sound And Not To Heavy

  • Should i buy it?Im beginner and never had an electric guitar too

  • Yes you can say whatever you want. But please refrain from saying whatever you want on my comments.

I DO READ EVERY SINGLE COMMENT POSTED, and i have no problem blocking you or removing your comments as much as i need to. I am not "another Christian silincing the rest of America because it offends" me. I would just like to have a clean comments page to avoid offending other people. As a Christian, I am not offended by your cussing. I know that is not how i should talk. But i want others to read

  • @Hollywood4Heaven Just out of intrest have you ever accidently cussed in your life. You know when your angry or something really really pisses you off and you just have to let it slip like "FUCK!" lol.

  • I appreciate your attempt to correct me about my reviews. I know i did a lot wrong but it was my first ever review of anything. However, people don't seem to be getting the memo.

I DO READ ALL OF THE COMMENTS POSTED.

Please don't swear in your comments. You don't have to say piece of s***. You can say piece of crap. and if you don't want to "sound like a little kid" say pos. I want other people to be able to read the comments posted on my videos without being offended so PLEASE DONT SWEAR.

  • i love distortion, fuck clean.

  • Okay. Nice to know you love distortion. In this particular video i liked a mild or clean sound. I like distortion much more now but i still find it doesn't fit some of the worship songs i play (the slower kinds but sometimes i get away with lower gain).

However. I say the same to you as to

10lipicht. Please don't swear, or use swear words in commenting on ANY of my videos. You can abreviate (such as lmao or wtf or whatever) but please REFRAIN FROM POSTING ANY SWEAR WORDS on my videos.

  • No. It doesn't pass as a bass. Guitars should NEVER EVER pass as bases. It sounds horrible having a guitar playing bass parts.

  • Yeah i realize that now. See my Digitech Custom Preset videos because i have a preset for that now. It lowers the pitch an octave and (by combining the pot on the guitar and the eq on the pedal) cuts out all the treble. Doesn't sound at all like a bass guitar. It's more of a sine wave bass note so its a really smooth rumbley type of sound. Really good for when you don't have a bass but you need that low end rumble.

  • Sorry i don't have that particular preset in the current videos that i have. I may do an updated video in the future when i have the time so you can hear the bass preset I have.

  • @Hollywood4Heaven That sounds like a walmart guitar and amp.

  • @viggetheman You can sort of get away with it with an octaver (set to an octave down) and the right EQing.

  • twangy is already a word haha

  • aw man. All that time and i didn't come up with a new word. I hope acousticy gets somewhere :P lol. n_n

  • I was just looking for the cheapest thing to catch my eye and i found this gem. Just goes to show that not everything that sounds good has to be expensive. I personally prefer Digitech's line of multi-effects processers because they are cheaper than buying all those units separately, and they sound good enough that the average person won't tell the difference between the multi-effects unit and the real thing.

  • nerd!

  • And proud of it to n_n

  • Nerd but plays guitar!!! Good job!! at least ur not THAT up on the nerd scale =] lol

  • Thanks. I really have a long way to go with my music playing but it's nice to hear that I'm doing well.

  • Lol im like a sorta popular guy and im not really considered a nerd. but im gona start guitar lessons next week and i think this guitar rocks!! do u know if its the one that comes in the Ibanez IJX30 metalpack?!? well anyway rock on and good luck!

  • LOL i love getting black!!! ^_^ not to be mea or anything lol

  • nice

  • ok thank you!!

  • is the Randall KH 15 good i mean it sounds good???

  • I say its pretty good. The 3 band eq and the clean and distortion channels are both very good. I say for being the cheapest amp i could find it does head and shoulders above what i expected.

  • and watt mens like the loudness of the sound....dunno whats it called in usa

  • i want the amp cause it has a very nice distortion sound or however you call it, and yeah its basic but 15 watt is enough for me at home.....but one thing i dont get: why you want a kirk hamett amp with heavy distortion, and dont like distortion? hmm

  • Well. It was really my first amp and guitar that i purchased ever. I didn't really want something big. Just something i could practice with and play in front of the youth group. So The distortion was only really there in the first place just in case i needed it. I enjoy more mild types of distortion. Now, i run a pedal through this amp so i only use the clean channel.

  • Is The Weight Similar To A Les Paul?...Or Lighter

  • I have never actually picked up a Les Paul and I didn't know the exact weight of my guitar so i weighed my guitar on two different bathroom scales (yea real accurate I know). I got about 6-7 pounds on both. I wish i knew more about different guitars so i could help more but i hope this helps.

My Ibanez GAX30 is about 6-7 pounds.

  • I have both, an epi les paul + a GAX 30, the les paul is far heavier and chunkier.

  • i think imma get this one for my bday next month

    hehe :)

  • Great. It's a good practice amp and it actually has great clean and distorted tones. I bring it to church on wednesdays to play with the worship team. There are around 50 teens at the service and we have drums and a piano all mic'd and the amp could easily compete with all of those if i cranked it up all the way (it's a 10 watter but it is awesome. BTW, i might do another review on another piece of equipment i just got so stay tuned.

  • good review on both

thinking about getting an ibanez so that helped a lot and the amp review is helpful too as im getting one of those. Though i LOVE playing with distortion lol.

  • I'm glad my review was helpful. I didn't think my review was any good at all. Maybe it wasn't maybe it was the annotations that did the trick but oh well. And its not that i don't love playing with distortion but i find cleans sounds more fun. Chorus, flanger, wah, things like that. But a good Rock the Dragon (Dragonball Z) is always fun to play.

  • lol your such a new yorker lol

    imma westerner yall lol
