I love this show even more than 'Dead Like Me' and it pisses me off no end that its still not available in the UK when loads of absolute shit comesover here! It's almost 10 years old for fuck's sake! At the moment, I catch the whole show by house-sitting for a friend every year and I watch it on her multi-regional player. Not good enough!

You guys have to realize that the creators intended to have Wonderfalls show the standalone tale of Jaye. It wasn't really meant to be stretched out into more seasons; however, the creators did express interest in a second and third season, coming up with ideas like Jaye institutionalized with “Joan of Arc Syndrome”, an accidental pregnancy with Sharon, a new non-deformed wax lion that told Jaye not to listen to the original, and Jaye's therapist publishing a book on her.

One of the most valued and oft watched DVDs I have; this is one of the most brilliant shows ever on tv--unfortunately I've seen quite a bit.. How did they come up with these amazing ideas and characters? Pure genius.

She lost the chance to be manager of Wonderfalls, and she finds out the wax lion was right.

People who are in depress can react like this if they are disturbed, even small events can do this too.

Unfortunately, even I didn't faint yet, I'm one of them.

All I asked is why'd he let her keep it. He wasn't going to let her at first but then he did when he saw her face so I thought maybe he thought she looked poor or something....

And...This is the first episode...I found out since aparently you couldn't answer this question. I'm pretty sure she didn't faint because she lost the chance to be manager...she's too strong for that kind of behavior. She fainted because this was the first time inanimate animals talked to her...

That's can be another good opinion.

I can tell you exactly why because isn't mentionned on the DVD, exept about how many times she tries (caroline) to choke by eating her sanwich for that scene.

This is the 1st episode. Just like the DVD.

Even if you tought she looks strong, persons in depress can have unpredictable behaviour.

It's more because of the wax lion that she faints.

The following scene can more explain about her mental issue.
