Electric Bike: 1 Month of Shooting and about 400 charge. Artistically speaking, is absolutely beautiful...but come on! Adam Raga riding trials silently?! Half of the fun of seeing those things is the orgasmic noise!

Ok, but if you wanna be eco-friendly, Technology is improving and I applaude you...too bad you can't hear me clapping over my monstrous engine!

Just because the bike, car, quad, etc is electric doesn't mean it's better for the environment, right? It still takes energy to produce the electricity that the bike is taking from the grid in order to run. So even though the bike isn't emitting carbon... isn't the power plant making up for the bikes non-emission motor? This is assuming the power plant burns coal, gas, etc

Am I wrong?

so more than 80% of the energy are wasted mostly through heat.

a combined heat and power plant uses 80% of the energy you put into it. (any fuel)

another plus is that you can charge your battery at night when many plants still have to run but no one used the energy before.
