This is so true. If you want to get a woman that's worth keeping once you reach the age of 25, you need to unleash your inner nerd! I love this so much cause I totally got every Firefly reference and I still can talk about Football, just have to put Football second...not first. :-) My wife is a geek too so it works well.

Most true geek girls do know and love firefly, but not all. Basically, most geek girls are into at least 2 of 4 things, and one of which they always focus on obsessively- Book Geek (Harry Potter, LOTR), Game Geek (Final Fantasy, Zelda), Movie Geek (Most Scifi-fantasy stuff), and TV Geek (Buffy, Firefly, Star Trek) \ :D In my case, I like ALL of the above but my main obsession would be the video games :P

I am right there with you, HellsSaint26. The box of DVD's barely cleared the edge of the desk before I stated laughing about the idea of using Firefly as shock therapy for non-geeks. Awesome. Very funny series. If, hypothetically, they ever release a DVD collection, BBT would have to drop down to the 2nd shelf (sorry Sheldon).
