  • Best Plot Twist Ever...Period

  • one of the most breath taking story ever made !

  • the moment when raziel and his former self stare at each other.. so epic.

  • 2:25

In Soul Reaver 1, when you watch the memories in the time palace before fight against kain, you can see some things from the future, one of them show Raziel with a fire reaver in a very simliar place like in 2:25

  • RAZIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLL

  • It was his true porpoise.

  • vorador snapped when he found janos's corpse

  • But if raziel kills his sarafan self how he still lives?that passed before the execution in to abyss right?

  • @SakuraWhish that was a past him and kain brings him back to life after. this portion of the story is taking place before before Ariel is born

  • @SakuraWhish

Raziel kills his human form and also the human forms of all his brothers. Therefore eventually providing Kain the corpses he needed to turn them into vampires later in the future, Correct, from human Raziel's point of view. He has yet to experience being thrown into the abyss. Well he needs to be turned into a vampire long before that happens.

  • a balrog saying you shall not pass ha ha

  • jujuju kain kills all his brothers then kain revives them, janus revive in defiance and is poseses by the hylden so i guess blood omen 2 will be rewrited for anew game or story line,DAMN EIDOS GIME A FUCKING NEW GAME OF THIS SERIES¡¡¡

  • @lindsaylohanslave Fuck yeah

  • A human killing a blood-sucking vampire... I don't know... I don't see the Human Raziel seeing this as 'wrong'. He'd been fighting vampires a long time.

  • Now this is a part in the timeline I do not understand.

Where does the death of Janos Audron fit in when saraphan lord throws him in the BO2 ? Anyone care to explain this paradox? Rovelius?

  • @anemiandEh Janos Audron was ressurected by Raziel in Defiance... and then possessed by the Unspoken, Hash'ak'gik or Hylden Lord... so many names for the same guy.

  • @anemiandEh janos gets revived in defiance, then posessed by the hylden, then the hylden seal him inside their machine but then kain throws the nexus stone and thus releases janos, after which the saraphan lord throws janos into their dimension, unable to return back because the gate got closed when kain threw the nexus stone into the machine

  • Heeeeey!!! Wheres that david bowie'd Raziel from the intro of LoK Soul reaver 1?

Hes totally fucked up in SR2!

  • Mentor?! Come on, Raziel, you guys just met!

    XD

  • @lonelysith66 He hasn't had a lot of people that act like Janos towards him - you know, kind, not a jackass ro manipulative bastard, so naturally...

  • @alexmeeszymidget oic okay ^_^

  • Not fair! Janos was so sexy!

  • What frustrates me about this scene is that Raziel had time to jump down and save Janos instead of just standing there and watching them carve him up!

  • what pisses me off is that raziel did it in the first place janos was one of my favorite guardians

  • Remember the Sarafan were armed with Moebius' staff, which completely disarmed Raziel preventing him to use the Wraith Blade. No matter how powerful Raziel was, there's no way he would have stand a chance against the Sarafan elite alone, and picking up a fight with them, unnarmed, would mean Janos Audron sacrificed himself in vain. Raziel had to thread carefully, and it was only when he got the Blood Reaver he could get his revenge.

  • It is true humans are easy to be manipulate by others. One example would be Nazi Germany

  • Mortal Raziel is Total Asshole >:(

  • The line "And I have taken yours!" was expressed with more grief than I have ever heard in Raziel's voice before.

  • It was the material reaver that healed the blade (which is called supposed to be called Blood Reaver at the time). The Spirit Reaver is the most powerful version of the blade in the end of Defiance. Imbuing the blade with all crap is just a mean to have the player feel that he makes progress, since there are no brothers' soul and power to devour like in SR1...

  • Actually, the Wraith Blade from Kain's shattering it upon Raziel healed the blade of William the Just. None of that explains anything in my original comment. I doubt the world's top scientists could explain what the hell happened..

  • Like lakdav said, it wasn't the Spirit Reaver that healed the blade. The wraith from Kain's Reaver was Raziel's own soul, which, in the 'true' timeline had been absorbed. Since Kain saved Raziel from the Reaver, Raziel was given the oppurtunity to purify the wraith blade with Spirit in Defiance. After that he was absorbed into the blade to form the Soul Reaver, with the power of Spirit in it at last. The shattered Reaver came from the first timeline, and was thus 'Spirit-less.'HTH:P

  • You seem to not understand the story line

Janos looks better in SR2 than in LoK Defiance ;)

  • Yep, the story line confuses the crap out of me. And yes, Janos does look better.

  • The end of this cutscene was shown (in a form) in Soul Reaver 1 in the chronoplast (just before he want through the time portal).

  • lol

    Human Raziel: o.o

    Wraith Raziel: O.O

why seemed slightly suprised to see each other XD

  • still manages a monologue after his heart has been ripped out, thats hardcore man.

  • This game rulz¡¡one of my favorites =D
