  • A truly divine hymn! :)

Thank you for uploading this one plus other great English hymns. Many thanks from Denmark.

  • A wonderful Hymn, one of many I chose for my Wedding day, accompanied by a brass ensemble. A truly stunning Hymn that gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it sung. and brings back wonderful memories. This one raises the roof whenever it is sung at Church.

  • i hear this song sung at least once a year in my lutheran congregation, i do not sing it, (21 year old insecurities blah blah you know) it is better when i hear the 20 to 40 person congregation sing it, the congregation made up of a 20 square mile of hills and back roads of the "country folk". when its sung by US the real american people its sublime. but this is still amazing...

  • Great stuff.

  • Wonderful!

  • amazing

  • jESUS, I own you my life and my soul for beeing allowed to hear this song honourd to you. God bless you all belivers!!:D

  • Praise be to the LORD!

  • We sing the chorus to this in our church when people come up out of the waters of baptism, absolutely beautiful hymn, PRAISE GOD WE HAVE THE VICTORY IN JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD!!!!!

  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (April 24, Easter Sunday), we sang this as our closing hymn at Sunrise Service. Ditto at another local Lutheran Church that I attended later. It is #376 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. However, we say Is instead of Be. Christ Is Risen! He Is Risen Indeed! Alleluia!

  • Beautiful!! Just beautiful!! This is the true message of Easter!!

  • Love this video....

  • This is IT...WHAT OUR FAITH IS ABOUT. REJOICE FELLOW CHRISTIANS WE ARE A REDEEMED PEOPLE. HE IS RISEN INDEED. HE WHO DENYS THE RESSURECTION IS LOST FOREVER. HE WHO EMBRACES IT AND HOPES IN ITS PROMISE IS SAVED. THAT SIMPLE.

  • Just love it.

God bless all true believers in the Anglican church.

God bless the believers in all christian denominations,

and may God help those who have not yet found the love of God.

  • The video is filmed looking west across the Team Valley in Gateshead, England.

  • @THENBA, oh yes, that's why one can see the sun slowly setting over the horizon. The video fits well with this hymn. The heavens and the earth proclaim the Lord's glory.

  • @THENBA Ah, in God's country then! North East.

  • Thenba, may I know from which location was this video taken? It seems to be from a very high altitude yet I can see sparrows flying about.

  • Thank you for sharing this lovely and inspiring hymn. I remember what the angels said to the followers of Jesus, "Why do you look for the living among the dead. He is not here, He has risen!".

  • @brandenburg2388 This is my work song. Each time I'm faced with a daunting task I find myself humming it. And it works!

  • @noleyplatz glad to hear how this hymn inspires you. It is in fact one of my most effective wake-up hymns, since I need to reach church before 8.30 am. God bless you.

  • Wow! I haven't heard this hymn in a long time!

    Thank you THENBA....:-)

  • There is no emptiness of soul ever for those whose life is devoted to God.

  • Thank you for posting this song.

We serve a Risen Saviour! He has victory over the grave and because He lives we have hope to see our loved ones who loved and obeyed Him in their but have fallen asleep and now rest in the grave. We have hope that if we too sleep as they but love and obey Him in our lifetime we will arise as He did and really will live and reign with Him. Our faith is not in vain. Serve God for He is the Lord over all heaven and earth and best of all, He loves us.

  • So inspired!! Beautiful!

  • "Marire Tie, Tu cel inviat"

  • love how in the video, the birds fly in the background. Lovely

  • This is our Science hymn ...

Sounds sad but ... Keeps me happy. :)

  • The Son of God has conquered death, God has risen with a shout and the Lord with a blast of trumpet. Its amazing, awesome, we will be of one substance with this immortal Christ one day with the law written in our hearts.

  • I love this Hymn.

  • My favourite hymn. I'm going to ask for this at my funeral, when the time comes. A long time away, God willing.

  • What a great song!
