Hi. Aprox by the year 2020 a laptop will reach the human brain potential for processing data which means that there is a huge market waiting for hundreds of billions dollars to be sold or invested in humanoid robots and intelligent systems. It is the beginning of the bigger industry in human history. Search on Google luisbeck007 you will find the most complete humanoid robot list in the World, good information and interesting issues.

me too >:( i hate primitive robots like that and i dont like japanese people either, i dont like them because of all the USELESS INVENTIONS THAT MAKE AND HOW THEY HAVE TO FREAKING PERFECT EVERYTHING!! >:(
hey hey hey now woooah. stop. you can't say you hate the entire japanese poeple becuase of that. i think these are rather entertaining :D just want to break it :D
Nice work but they're hardly showing emotional reactions... it's just hard-wired coding. They seem to be programmed to respond to certain noises in different ways (clapping, cheering, the sound of a whistle).
Thats the only way to make robots act emotionally. If you think about it, thats exactly what we do too. If i hear a whistle and clapping, i know i scored, then i cheer. the robots do the same =D

This sux. It isn't robotics but automatics or even mechanics. Kids are doing the same in LEGO MINDSTORMS
altjordan 4 years ago
lego mindstorms is far less advanced, its made so its easy for the user to make things, and program them..
these robots are built from custom parts,
and the software is made completely from scratch, not using friendly interfaces to make it simple...
dont get me wrong, lego mindstorms is awesome
i just think these people deserve some credit
