  • Al Kooper played the organ on the official studio version of "Like a Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan...

  • The whole album actually along with the legendary Mike Bloomfield on the guitar.

  • This is correct.... all documented on the documentary most recently done by Scorcese... check it out, Bloomfield is BAD (Good) at the 65 Newport Folk Festival

  • Hadn't heard this in years and I mean years. I believe it was released in 1972 and it sounds so great. Beautiful voice and the lyrics are so neat. Thanks Al, you are great.

  • ohhh Kooper...Look what you done to me...This song, this music ... break my heart !!

  • al kooper una autentica estrella, primero en los blood sweat ad tears y despues a solo

  • このイントロが始まるとゾクゾクします。

    自分のことをこんな風に歌ってもらえたらうれしいですね。

  • Lovely lovely song!

  • esta cancion me recuerda mis años mozos, que epoca aquella, nada mejor.

  • This song played on the radio in the early 70's and I was crazy about it. Eagerly awaited every day. Some 20 years later, I could buy the LP. Many thanks for bringing back the mood.

  • Al Kooper c'est tout ce qu'on aimait à New-York dans les années 70. Fermons les yeux un instant, un verre de whisky, l' ambiance feutrée d'un bar de Manhattan...

  • Al's solo works were kind of obscure, but they really captured the period. "Jolie" said 1972, "Magic In My Socks" said 1969,

"Turn My Head Towards Home" said 1976.

    Kooperites are usually nostalgia scholars.

  • I love Al Kooper. I wish I can get his solo CDs in the US with reasonable price. Hope more people upload his music.

  • Your wish has come true. I have uploaded some and plan to upload more.

  • I've been looking 4 this Al Kooper's version!!! Thx 4 putting it up!

  • 赤心の歌

    tokyo渋谷系最高の音楽!!

  • In Japan, Sony used this song as their TV-CF song in two or three years ago!

  • Wow, they played this on WIOQ in Philly in maybe 72 or 73. Great song by a great artist. Thanks for posting it!

  • G'day, There isnt too much of Al's work that is widely known: For example, Albums released way back then were either marketing 'ploys' or 'Blood Sweat and Tears' were, in the main Al K's backing band. Pete H.

  • Jolie!!

Al Kooper was a great artist.

  • IS a great artist..let's not hasten his demise...

  • i love this theme!

    saludos desde venezuela

  • Great tune! Thanks for getting it up.
