  • Was watching this again and wondered if I mentioned this was beautiful which I did-but I also noticed some wacko comment in the process and its really disturbing-i hope you never let a comment bother you-why because number one you are awesome why because number two most intelligent people will get this and not judge you for anything why because you are obviously compassionate thoughtful and giving-

  • Awesome recipe man. Just curious; are you gay? I'm not asking in a derogatory manner (honest) but you do put out a bit of a vibe. If not, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend and if you are, I guess that answers my question. Anyways....I LOVE your video man. Good stuff bro; respect from CANADA. :)

  • Hi! Have you tried intellectus 424 diet (google it)? Ive heard some great things about it and my work buddy lost tons of weight with it.

  • youi say eat raw wich is AwesomE but do you ever eat meals like chicken and turkey? or dairy?

  • do me a favor would ya.go fucking kill yourself.

  • WOW! That was delicious! Thanks for sharing Dan! Your the Man! The corn just adds so much to this I couldn't believe it! The guacamole was epic!~ We had it with the chips and I served it with some lettuce leaves that we made raw tacos with. Basically you inspired our best raw meal on our 7th day 100% raw! Thanks so much for sharing and helping us newbies! Your a treasured asset in my RawNewMe arsenal !

  • OMG!! It's says you have to many friends on fb!! :( I'm gonna go make this now :) Day 7 100% raw for me feeling sooo amazing!! Thanks for all you do!

  • I am not a hater and you have helped me a lot. However, when you cook for other people, you cannot lick your fingers and stick them in the food.

  • @sundogforlove first of all he's not cooking lol and secondly that's how you add the Love to your food rofl :)

  • Today I said, well it's about time I give up the peanut butter, beans, and occasional bread and go all the way raw, so good-bye peanut butter and hello dates and raw nuts. Replacement does work, and I love it. It helped me lose 25 pounds in the last year.

  • I'm definitely with you on the raw "chips," but there is nothing that can truly replace a cold Corona!

  • Great Video I really enjoy it! Hope you enjoy ours…

  • Cool, now I'm gonna go out and buy mad salsa and guacamole ingredients :)

  • ur working that HAT DAN Nice Video

    Cathy Starr *

  • @liferegenerator Ok Dan the man with the master plan, I dont have the money for a high dollar juicer ): and that's a real bummer! Where can i get a cheap juicer that will get the stems and other stuff such as seeds out of the juice?????

  • @XxSteven19xX Did you check out the jack lalanne juicer? It's not too expensive. I found one online for $100, where other juicers can get upwards of $200. $100 is pretty inexpensive for a juicer, and is well worth it.

  • That looks sooooo good!

  • There is a trick to use with too hard avocados: wrap them with paper (any paper will do, specially newspaper) and leave them to mature for two-three days. It's very usefull when you can't find mature avocados in your market!

  • I clicked subsrcibe in the first minute. :D

    Looks delicious and very healthy.

I wish I had people like this who are as committed to good and healthy living as he is in my life! I'm going to try out these recipes.

  • Love You!)

  • i love this video

  • I love our videos Dan and you really inspire me. I have noticed that you really avoid fats in your diet, and I am wondering what led you to do this? I've just read a lot about the importance of "good fats" in our diet and many studies on tribes who eat a lot of fat show they have very good health. I am interested to know what led you to avoid fat so much in your diet? Thanks.

  • This guys swag is on a trillion. I loved this video.

  • weres the chili lol

  • This video rocks, thx for sharing! Also, jicama in big thin slices makes GREAT chips!

  • HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE CILANTRO!>!???

  • love this recipe. just got back from store, so I will try next time. dont have cillantro or lime very key ingredients :(

  • Honestly, u r my hero

  • Cool man, liked your video. Subscribing.

  • will i get muscles like yours if i eat like you?

  • is it just me or would ANYONE take advice from a man in a cowboy hat? ? ?

  • I can't hear shit, this video doesn't have normal volume and even my digital speakers won't go loud enough to hear it. I think I'm glad. Nothing I hate worse than a southern American running its mouth. Didn't those fucks want to keep slavery?

  • @ShayLee0501 I apologise for this comment. I was trying to see how many insults would get thrown back, just to see why trolls do it. I love Lynyrd Skynyrd, Guns N Roses, Dolly Parton and many other Southerners. I was truly just trying to be a dick to see why trolls do it.

  • Also total respect that no one sank to my level and threw a massive amount of flame back.

  • Nice Videos!!thank you for continuing to spread the vegan message! :)

  • Nice Videos!!

  • you are just toooooooooooo sexy! thanks for sharing!

  • @majoshlin You think that's sexy? I suppose if you're into bondage, it might be sexy seeing it walking behind it's black slaves, smacking them on their arse with a leather cat o nine whip to make them work the cotton plantation faster.

  • @ShayLee0501 whooooooooaaaaaaa! From the bottom of which barrel did you pull that junk? Seriously????????????????????????????????

  • @majoshlin Ah sorry, I was testing out trolling. For some reason, after a few drinks earlier, I started wondering what people get out of being a troll and decided to give it a try. I didn't find it fun so I guess I won't be doing that again. Different time zone here, so no, I didn't drink first thing in the morning LOL

  • For people who dont like as much onion...if you chop it finely with a knife, instead of obliterating it in a food processor, the cells won't be destroyed and you won't have the overpowering onion gasses that take over the dish! I find that food processor almost always destroys an onion.

  • Vegan boots?

  • @qwilson2 Yes Vegan boots! They are made of genuine Vegan with all natural Paul McCartney souls! (oops soles)

  • I wish I could try these things. It would be nice if there was a way for someone with crohn's disease.

  • Fans of Dan's ... there are always going to be a few haters, hatin on Dan or his fans here in the comments... try to stay positive and just ignore them or tell them to STFU if they go to far with their hatin. Raw food rules & Dan is beyond cool.

    Peace out friends.

  • @GunzDonovan Raw food? Sure I feed that to my dog but people discovered fire multi millions of years ago. Our internal organs have evolved along with our diet and they expect hygenic, cooked food. In another million years we'll probably have evolved to live on unsaturated fat and chemicals (aka McDonalds). Fortunately we haven't yet reached that point but it's still important to cook our meat & 3 veg.

  • @ShayLee0501 Wait, I meant SATURATED fat, but yu get my gist

  • that looks delicious :)

  • This was way tastier than cooked chips and salsa, and its actually not addictive!

  • this guy is simply the best, his delivery & message (fun) is like no other

  • Oh man, I made this for dinner last night. It was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. I don't have a food processor so I just chopped everything up. (minus the corn, none around)

  • first video i watched of yours.. and well i suscribed! lol i love your humor and love for life! thanks for the vid and yes i have a chips and salsa addiction! :)

  • My heroes have ALWAYS been cowboys .

  • it aint mexican food if its not made BY a mexican

  • @Boomies559 I am Mexican! :D

  • @liferegenerator cool then this vid i like :p

  • @Boomies559 u need to work on ur iq

  • @drah9955

    and you need to stfu

  • @Boomies559 maybe you should practice what u preach & STFU too... stop hatin, start participatin... eat some raw food and get positive dude.

  • @GunzDonovan People are permitted to share their opinion, even if its different than yours. Just as you're permitted to share yours, even if its different than theirs.

  • @GunzDonovan I ate same raw food today. First I ate some sushimi from a crappy Japanese food stall and then I chowed down a peyote bush in my friend's yard. For some reason I had an argument with Papa Smurf a bit later in the day and now I feel great, looking at the new psychodelic colour scheme on my ceiling. Thanks for the advice, it worked a treat. Luv ya

  • @Boomies559 I agree :o) But this recipe is one of the closest to an original I've seen on Youtube! Thumbs up Dan.

2 tips from a Mexican cook:

+ Get rid of the corn and zuccini in this recipe if you want to keep it Mexican.

+ Reduce to one clove of garlic and process it alone with the chilis first, since they are the strongest flavors they will blend in better. Then add the rest of the ingredients and process again.

  • @lindaguadalajara

Second look: There is no CHILI???? Toss in a pair of "serranos" for the love of god!

  • @Boomies559 zing!

  • @Boomies559

Sorry but that's just dumb lol.

  • @steveogurule its the truth, sorry.

  • This dude cracks me up--Dan the Man! He makes this whole RAW food thing fun. Much Respect!

  • As for the chips , i'd brush them with a little extra virgin olive oil , and off they are to the oven on low to dry and cook them till crispy.

  • Thank you Dan!

  • This guy is an idiot..

  • @cheena1son

Go away! Disappear from this channel. Dan is THE BEST!!!

  • thank you. you are funny too.

  • lol XD i eat raw steak XD never raw veggies hell i hate veggies and I'm fit as a horse

  • I am so excited to try this! I love chips and salsa and this seems to be the cure!

There are so many ways to make RAW CHIPS!!!

    YES!

  • do you grow all your own food? if you don't then where do you go?

  • do the fruits and vegetables have to be organic ?

  • that looked so good

  • i'm pretty sure those weird avocados are because they were previously frozen.

  • I love u man.

  • I just use straight celery. A little salsa. No problems. Tho I might try zuccini's ;)

  • isnt wine raw?

  • lol its so funny because I wont touch tortilla chips anymore because they are really addicting. i thought i was the only one

  • I love this guy!!

  • crazy f**ing awesome!! I'm drooling!

  • O my! that looks so GOOD!!! Thanks am going to try for sure,,,

  • I just realized, Dan, you're sexy!

  • lol don't try to sell that carrot juice with lime idea... a corona is a corona.

  • do it in your vita mix

  • You would make one cool neighbor!

  • lovely :-)

  • A man who's fine, godly, and who can cook mmmmm mmm!

  • YUMMY!!!!!!

  • I'm hosting a party in a couple days and we certainly are having chips and homemade pico de gallo and guac. I just wanted to say that I *really* like your carrot juice + lime thing. To give it a little bite, I'm thinking about adding some ginger to it...also aids in digestion instead of upsetting the stomach like too many brewskies can do!

  • can i put a jalapeno in it

  • @alakranado try serrano.

  • that was a very motivating presentation, seems like you have a really good outlook on life!

  • Sup Dan,

I have a blendtec high powered blender that I spend two hundred bucks on.. Do I need to buy a ciusinart food processor or will my blendtec do the job as well?

  • A cookbook that cotains the recipes to all your favorite meals from your favorite restaurants? Yes, its true! Cook them all today! - youtube.com/watch?v=6ktnVmKZXOo

  • I love it when you do a taste test. That makes me want to make some too. "Off the hook." Mmmm.

  • Hey man, I loved your video. I have been on the raw food diet for three weeks now and have recently made my own fresh salsa. I was looking for something to use as a replacement for chips. I will give the zuchinis a try. Peace and health, Lancer

  • mexican-y - you are my Guru.. luv ur recipes and outlook. keep on brother.

  • You are super legit. I really appreciate your videos, man.

  • carrot juice vs corona I love it. hahah

  • You are cool in my book. Carrot juice corona!

  • looks soooooo delicious...mmmmmmmmm

  • I love your philosophy about spreading the good news.

  • cilantro in first

  • I used Jicama for a chip. WORKED AWESOME!!!

  • @sorr86 Thanks for the suggestion. I will give this one a try also.

  • this is Great, im mexican and its really HARD to go raw for a day with no tortillas or some sourt of chips...

im gonna try this =] thank you

  • Shit my family thought I was sick when I came back from colorado. I was lean, more muscular...they said I needed to eat something. Doesn't shock me though. They're all fat.

  • @Cstrife234 lol i get the same thing... alll day!

  • Zucchini chips!! SO GOOD! Thanks for the brilliant idea!

  • yum!..im hungry..lol

  • You said you've tried all highs. Does that means you once used drugs and alcohol? I'm intrigued.

  • hahah i love where he said the it is the best high i tryed it all haha :) that was amazing lol know he did before

  • I really like how enthusiastic you are. Great presentation!

  • "silently set an example" -now thats inspiration ;)

  • you made me go raw man!!

    your awesome

  • 0:45 I love how you rub your nose then go straight to cooking haha. Yummie boogers.

  • @djjennyfey lol ! :)

  • What do you use for the "chips"?

  • @MariCarvalho1 just check the info section beneath the video for the complete recipe! :D

  • What if I dont have a dehydrator?

  • @0000000Lara I did not use a dehydrator, I do not even own a dehydrator! Check the info section beneath the video for the complete recipe! :D

  • AND yes, your videos are amazing!!!

  • this is the best video ever!!!

  • The high on health IS the best high. I, too have tried everything else. I spend less on food in a week than I used to spend on pot for a day anyway.

  • One of your best Dan!

  • If you guys was to make raw tortilla chips, I found this recipe that is Mui easy, and SO delicious. It takes just like corn chips. All you need is a dehydrator and a good blender. jalapeño corn tortilla chips Ingredients: 3 cups fresh corn, from about 3 ears (or use frozen, thawed sweet corn) 1 1/2 cup red or orange bell pepper 1/2 cup onion 3/4 cup flax seeds 1/2 cup hemp seeds, optional 1 tbs fresh lime juice 1 2 jalapenos, seeds removed 1/2 tsp chili powder 2 tsp cumin 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1. In a food processor, chop the corn, bell pepper, and onion until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and process until just combined.

Using an offset spatula, spread the dough thinly onto three 14 inch Teflex lined dehydrator trays. Dehydrate at 115 degrees for 6 8 hours, or overnight. Flip the sheets over onto the tray and carefully peel away the liners. Break or cut w/ a pizza cutter into chip shapes. Place back in the dehydrator for 4 6 hours, or until crisp.

  • I just made this and it is SO amazing. JUST like chips. Then dip it in Dan's yummy recipe. And Voila!

  • Making this tonight!

I was thinking dehydrating the zucchini would give it that chippy crisp.

  • Yee haw

  • Cilantro is a MUST have especially in a salsa! Love the no waste lime bit too! Yums!

  • I started to go raw foods about a week ago and have seen a 8 pound weight loss so far i feel great and this is a great recipe! The chip sub is also a great idea. It realy feels great seeing eating, as I also gave up smoking about a year ago and and drinkin about six months ago.

  • Awesome video...keep em coming! also for chips you could use raw sweet potatoes!

  • I love love love loved this video - gonna make this as soon as I come off my current fast - YUM!

    Joanie in Indiana

    P.S. Thank You :-)

  • making this tomorrow! go Dan and Krista

  • I make my salsa the same way, but instead of corn, I use a can of organic black beans because they are loaded with fiber and protein. I am going to pull from your idea and add corn along with the black beans. I agree with you on dehydrated foods. Why dry them up and lose all the good juices. Good Day!

  • This would be a popular recipe in the raw food cook book you need to publish!

  • Rockin' vid Dan! You REALLY need your own raw food cable channel just doing what you do on YouTube! This video should go out in Spanish to slim down a few south of the border. Mexican food can be REALLY fattening.

  • Howdy Howdy reminds me of Toy Story. You're awesome

  • nice fun little video.

thanks all the way from london!

  • What's REALLY cool is to dehydrate those chips so they REALLY taste like chips! Buy a dehydrator!

  • We had one long ago but we sold it, as eating dehydrated foods only dehydrated our bodies!

  • @liferegenerator I guess it's the same with dried fruit, because some recommend drinking water with the dried fruit. I am not a raw vegan myself (I am a vegetarian trying to go vegan), but I am interested in the raw food diet, if it is something for me to try once I have been a vegan and am ready to go raw.

Were you a vegan or vegetarian before you went raw?

  • so great!!!

  • you are so much fun to watch, i am excited about trying the raw food way, i love fruits and veggies so i hope it isnt to hard to transition from the tipical american diet to a healthy natural diet. love the videos!!

  • You are so right about "humble." I need to lose 40lbs.

  • Love your spirit!!!

  • loved your video!!
