I remember watching the news when I was younger & seeing images of Belfast having the shit blown up out of it. All I remember was Belfast being a smoking hole of blood, guts, carnage & detonated Opal Astra hatchbacks.

To see a band rise up out of the blood & guts of a once filthy Belfast is something strange to me. Here is hoping life can continue in a reconciled Belfast. Mustn't be a bad place if Snow Patrol are from there.

you know, i think that's the most depressing comment ive ever read. the one from Improvedmexican reminiscing about woolworths, A song that reminds you of going into a shop? And a glorified -anything for a pound store- at that. I wonder if the individual has ever considered living life, doing something. I see comments must relate to the track here, i like that, so.. Call them Irish or Northern Irish, does not matter. I have herd Gary calling himself Northern Irish, not sure about Nathan and Jonny. But the band is equally Scottish, Tom, and Paul are and the band was formed in Scotland.
