Can this be done with pageplus x3?

i cant find the crop flyout tool to merge the shapes................

@LizArtnCards Hi Liz, sorry this feature, being able to combine shapes and subtract them from each other, was only introduced in PagePlus X4, so also exists in the newer version PagePlus X5. It's also a feature of Serif DrawPlus, which is more versatile and powerful that PagePlus for shape manipulation. Hope that helps, Dale @ Serif.

I recently purchased the WebPlus X4 and it didn't have this, i just downloaded it free from the website, just want to know, is it possible to create something like in the video then transfer it as MASTER PAGE for my website?

I've got a good question here. Whenever I start a new text frame or use the artistic text tool, the font always defaults to Times New Roman size 12. Is there anyway of altering this default font to say Arial size 14? I've noticed this happens on Corels Wordperfect software as well. Oh and could I have my reply given by the lady with the nice voice by phone please. Go on be a sport.

@airscrew1 Sorry not the lady with the nice voice . . . But to answer your question:

Create a text frame in the usual manner, as you rightly point out the default is Times New Roman and you will notice this is the 'Body' text.

Now change the font and the size to whatever you want, when this is done,

click Format - update object default

Now whenever you use the default 'Body' text it will appear in the font and size you have set up.
