I have been a figure skater for 14 years, and really, she might not have fallen because she was nervous... things happen and people fall. As for looking like it hurt, it probably didn't skaters are used to it. It probably wasn't embarassing either, it happens all the time, and there is nothing you can do about it

Falling wasn't ENTIRELY her fault. Her major flaw though is that she did single jumps instead of double jumps (she's... um... FS8?) at some points. I liked Troy's skater better than Gabriella.
You do realise that the vocals are all on playback don't you? The whole show's technical is run by computer - the lights, video, pyros and playback are all centrally controlled and the same everytime. They put in one live bit,the section where they ask someone in the audience's name, to sell the 'live' aspect to the mugs who paid to see it.
Amen to that. In the Irish one a new Troy was put on because in the song Bet On It he fall over the bar thingy at the side and twisted his ankle! Thank heavens for understudies!
