Am I the only one who can't watch any of these videos? I see a countdown, the crackle announcement, and then it tells me that there's been an error. Can anyone tell me why that is?
I just hate how children are indoctrinated with the bullshit side of theology. I'm an atheist, and nothing angers me more when a kid who's no older than 15 tells me he's a "Christian"... if I were to ask 9 out of 10 of these little shits what they even knew about their "religion", they'd only be able to tell me maybe 2 or 3 mainstream stories (Noah's Ark, Adam & Eve, Jesus Ressurects, etc...) They wouldn't even know all the crazy bullshit that's in the OT and NT... but mainly the OT. READ UP

What is funny, is that growing up, I remember watching George Carlin's comedy on TV, laughing until I couldn't breath anymore. I loved the guy, even when I was a Christian. Of course George Carlin is in Hell. God gave him gifts and talents, and he used them to blaspheme God. How smart was that? It's not like he wasn't warned time after time.
No matter if you are a wack-a-doodle christian like Phelps or a regual "normal" christian I just see it as a mental issue that when we move to our next stage of enlightenment (whatever that may be) we will look back on the people who hung onto their religious beliefs in the same way we look at the people who were so sure of what they believed in the bronze age. And we will again look at the fact that we require our politicians be religious to be what held us back from our rightful future.
Moving on to higher enlightenment is what the Christian's are called to do. The world is ever changing and it's the job of the Christian to bring about The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control into the world they live. It's the Christian's job to find the truth in the mess and continue to bring good news to the world. The term Christian came in time, but the truth and good things are all around, Christians look for it.
and what I mean by saying hell doesn't exist yet is that biblically, hell isn't out there somewhere, nor does it burn forever.. after Christ returns and comes to make heaven on earth, that's when the sinners will be resurrected and pay their debt for sin because they didn't accept Christ's death instead. So, even from a Christian, biblical standpoint dead sinners are NOT suffering and burning eternally.. they are asleep in the grave until the last resurrection.
I am a Christian, Fred Phelps does not represent Christians nor is that evil man one.. Christians should show love and compassion and if this hell does exist, and I know it does.. a Christian should NEVER rejoice that someone would loose eternal life and burn for their sins, it's a horribly sad thing and that's what we are supposed to be trying to save people from. I know most of you don't believe but just to inform, biblically hell does not exist yet and people will NOT burn for eternity.

I feel the same way. I cant laugh at people like this anymore. I feel deeply saddened by the hate and fear th Phelps wake up with daily. I just cant comprehend the mindset. To me Fred Phelps is anonymous, but I knew Charles Carlin from his stand up carreer, where he loved to make fun of religious people, and christians in particular. From this tube I do understand Phelps is a christian. With this knowledge in back of my hands I find it pretty immature for someone who favours Carlin to whine about harsh words against Carlin. To me such behavour could be used as the very one example of complete hypocrisy.

I watched the same thing. It made me mad. I had the absolute pleasure of producing 2 George Carlin concerts. In the limited and brief time I spent with him, I found George Carlin to be a truly kind, gentle, angry, flawed, funny and brilliant human being. Unlike Mr. Phelps whose glee, as you put it, made me sick. And I believe you are correct in that Phelps is clearly mentally ill. It makes me pity him and his family. Regardless-he still pisses me off and I'd like to slap the shit out of him.

No matter if you are a wack-a-doodle christian like Phelps or a regual "normal" christian I just see it as a mental issue that when we move to our next stage of enlightenment (whatever that may be) we will look back on the people who hung onto their religious beliefs in the same way we look at the people who were so sure of what they believed in the bronze age. And we will again look at the fact that we require our politicians be religious to be what held us back from our rightful future.

and what I mean by saying hell doesn't exist yet is that biblically, hell isn't out there somewhere, nor does it burn forever.. after Christ returns and comes to make heaven on earth, that's when the sinners will be resurrected and pay their debt for sin because they didn't accept Christ's death instead. So, even from a Christian, biblical standpoint dead sinners are NOT suffering and burning eternally.. they are asleep in the grave until the last resurrection.

I am a Christian, Fred Phelps does not represent Christians nor is that evil man one.. Christians should show love and compassion and if this hell does exist, and I know it does.. a Christian should NEVER rejoice that someone would loose eternal life and burn for their sins, it's a horribly sad thing and that's what we are supposed to be trying to save people from. I know most of you don't believe but just to inform, biblically hell does not exist yet and people will NOT burn for eternity.
