i have a 61 just like it (not lowered) in NYC. Looking forward to getting safari for the front and hoops and canvas. Do you recommend a safari supplier? Is it do-able by one self?
@flatfaces ... try Gerson at Klassic Fabrications. They are in Colombia or something, so don't be nervous, they are legit and have good fairly priced product.
my boyfriend drives a 78 and it's lime green and white. he restored the whole thing about 5 years ago. we've had so many great memories with it especially during the summertime. It always makes me happy when I see others still driving around the classics.
I've got a '57 s/c It's a blast to drive--shifts real easily & handes like a go-kart...stance is exactly the same as yours, lowered but not slammed...not yet! The interior is also turquis...yours looks a lot better than mine. I wanna do hoops, canvas, safaris, overcab rack & get all the little stuff done like e-brake, wipers-one eye duck, sound system, foglights, signals, license plate light, so many little things don't work on mine yet. Also have a 66 doublecab and a 62 bus, but the s/c rocks!!
Such an awesome vid. Speedometer doesnt work, gotta love it!:)

I'm glad that you kept the bullet hole to go along with the bullet turn signals. The non-op speedometer is a nice touch, too. Sweet lookin' ride!
