Please someone tell me, when the person takes the paper from Naseeruddin/Mirza Ghalib and looks over it to see nothing on it, does it mean that Mirza Ghalib ad-libbed this wonderful ghazal!? If it was an extempore effort, then its more extraordinary than Mirza Ghalib's already extraordinary shayri! And, if this was normal for Ghalib, then I have a new found respect for him. Please clarify someone.
@fauziaalii Thank you so much dear, for the valuable appreciation. Plz check out my other uploads also may be you find something very rare quality stuff. Remain Blessed & Take car of yourself.
with all due respect , check your ghazal which is an arabic word or even that thing you guys call it sher which is arabic word too, compare it to arabe and see the deference. any way the arabs brought the poem with them on the 8th century, and urdu language would never exist without arabe, that goes for persian as well, because arabs went to pershia and converted them to islam so their language 80% arabe, check with your professors to know the truth, no hard\feelings please. thanks

oh i m in love with mirza ghalib's words.....no matter how many times i hear it .....it's just as fresh as it was when i heard it for the first time.....
What a great master work of professional’s qualified people. Beautiful Indian culture and sweet language make it completes. Simplicity and respectable words are crown on this video. I have no proper and enough words for a compliment. May God let born in India more this kind of persons, they make’s history.
Meaning: Whatever I say you tell me that I have no value, that is I am worthless. Just think about it how degrading and demeaning is your way of speaking and how it is out of etiquette.
The beauty of this verse is in its way of expression. In fact, Ghalib wants to say that when the passion of love is at its peak, the lover's heart becomes so much drenched in love's intensity that his blood flows from his eyes in the shape of tears.
But he conveys this idea saying that he attaches no value to the blood that only circulates in the arteries, because in this case there is no difference in the lives of animals and human beings. A lover is not a true lover unless his blood drips through his eyes. Iqbal has also expressed somewhat similar idea in the following verse:
Tar aankheny to ho jaati hain per kya lizzat iss rone mein
Jab khoon-e-jigar ki aamezesh se ashk pyazi ban na saka
My body is covered with blood all over. Due to this my dress is sticking with my body. therefore, there is no need to sew my pocket which is already torn to pieces.
The fire of separation from the beloved has burnt my whole body. It is most likely that my heart is also burnt with it. Now what is the use of searching for it in the ashes. If you liked my heart so much, why didn't you try to save it before it is burnt.
I have become so feeble that I don't have the strength to express my desire. But in case I do get this strength somehow, it will be of no use anyway. Because I have no hope that my beloved will ever fulfill my desire. Therefore, it is better to be silent.
i m a realli big fan of Ghalib the Great this is just owesum heart touching no one can express romantic illusion tht best. GHalib will alwayz be GHALIB all da time.....

@Nadia78687 The first one goes like this : On everything I say, you reply "What are you?" You tell me what a way of talking is this We are not convinced of it running around in the veins, Its not blood if it does not come as tears from the eyes My clothes are sticking to my body with my blood, My pocket does not need repairing anymore Where the body has burnt down, the heart would have too I see you search the ashes, what do you look for? (continued)

Jalaa hay jism jahan dil bhi jal gaya hoga
(When the body is burnt, the heart might've too)
Kuredte ho jo ab raakh justju kya hay?
(Digging the ashes, what is your purpose now?)
Na rahi taaqat e guftaar aur agar ho bhi
(I do not have the power to speak, and even if I did)
Kis umeed pe kahiye ke aarzoo kya hay?
(Then on what hope shall I express my desires)
tawheed4salaf 1 month ago
@ nizamahmed1 I shall translate the ghazal for you in sha ALLAH
Har ek baat pe kehte ho tum ke tu kya hay
(At every instance you say "who are you?")
Tum hi kaho ke yeh andaaz e guftgu kya hay
(What (bad) manner of talking is it?)
Ragon mein daudtay phir ne ke hum nahi qaayal
(Im not glad to see them run in the veins)
Jab aankh hi se na tapka toh phir lahu kya hay
(If it drops not from the eyes it is not blood)
