Awww, poor birdie...A few weeks ago a crow nearly fell on top of me and was writhing in pain on the ground. I think some other crows attacked it but he eventually flew off.
If I was in excruciating pain I would rather be put out of my misery. Or if I'm in a permanent coma it wouldn't make sense to keep me living.
If I had a fatal wound, I'd want enough time to tell my loved ones that I love them one last time. But then I'd want to be put out of my misery. I don't want to live, suffering all the time. Similiarily, if I'm brain dead, I don't want to be on life support. If I can't think, if I'm not me, don't force my body to keep working.
Aw poor guy :( It really depends, if I had my family there with me I would want to enjoy every moment with them, if they were not there I would probably want to be put out of my misery.
I wish that bird had a little poncho and sombrero. Everyone just looks cooler wearing that.
A fake stache wouldn't hurt either.

i helped a baby bird out when it got hit by a lawnmower... its wing got chopped off and the blood wouldn't cloth so it died....
