  • 鎌を掃除しているときの仕草がネコのようでかわいい

  • Cute mantis, reminds me of mine. Such fascinating creatures, I sit and watch mine for hours on end. She's so cute xD

  • The fluff is probably moth scales... lol

I love mantises, how they act sort of like cats. They are friendly too!

  • great work! love ur vids!

  • glad u liked it. :)

    thanx!

  • she was covered with the scales and hairs of the moth she had just eaten.

    thx 4 watching.

  • 1:07 looks like she's going to attack.

  • hahaha, yeah.

from that point on, u can see a yellow/orange spot on her ventral thorax between a pair of deadly forelegs.

that spot colour is a unique characteristic of this species.

  • So beautiful. Is this your pet? and are they hard to take care of?

  • yes, she was my pet.

adult mantis was very easy to take care of.

but it was very hard to prepare/catch tiny live preys (such as fruitflies) for baby nymphs every day.

    (i failed ....)

  • So amazing. It looks like she fell in a dust bunny, but I see the comment that says she just ate a moth.

  • awsome i like when you put the prey in the tank and they just tilt thier heads to see it haha

  • Amazing creature. I hope they don't evolve to a larger size! Imagine one 10 feet tall standing before you!

  • Great clip, that mantis is beautiful!

  • It looks like an space alien! amazing close up.

  • thank you. mantis rocks!

she climbed up the annoying lens in the end.

  • nevermind, i can read it just ate a moth lol sorry...great video!

  • yes, she was covered with prey moth's scales and hairs.

    thanks for watching.

  • What was all the thread-like stuff on it?

  • whoa the eyes are so weird. amazing.

  • Yes, mantid pseudopupils seem to continuously stare at you, weird! They are not real pupils but our optical illusion, sort of.

If you'd like to watch another mystery of mantid compound eyes, plz search my short clip titled "Mantid Eye Color".

    Thank you.
