  • what u.s.a. did to its original people, canada did likewise. what england did to her subjects, spain did something similar to mexico and so on. as for the french versus algeria, just read up on it. it is disgraceful that these "superior" cultures STILL deny what they did. it is bad en ough when people experiment on animals but canada etc. DID experiment on human beings of the native race. Read up on it if you don't believe me. BUT IT IS CREEPY READING.

    BE PREPARED FOR SHOCK.

  • what aabout native North americans who love to follow Moses or Mohamed or Buddha etc.

    DOES ANYONE NOTLOVE THOSE PEOPLE?

    jUST asking.

  • Indigenous peoples singing a song written by the people who destroyed their customs and way of life and sentenced them to "reservations" where most live in an alcohol induced state of poverty.

    Irony much?

  • @NESurvivalPrep - You don't heve to go to USA or Canada etc. to see what alcohol does to ANY culture. Visit anyof the council estates of Britain, Isle of Man or Ireland to see exactly what the results are. Rich people can afford to drink themselves to death and to rot their liver. the poor people cannot. Yet they end up in a box at an early age.

sad, is it not? booze is t he worst drug even invented.

  • all indigenous people on this earth must unite in spirit and become one mind ..for the power that they wield is the power of all that is. aho

  • Balance of Power...

  • please everyone stop being angry this is a beautiful song use the lessons to strengthen your faith in humanity i'm of mixed celtic/native blood and this music touches me deep in my soul history has been cruel and many times repeated itself it did for my ancestors on both sides of the Atlantic but if not for these hardships i would not be here I would not be me

  • Im descended from choctaw on my fathers side, and cherokee on my mothers side, along with English,German and Irish. Im not ashamed of anything that I am,I may be mostly white ,but Im not ashamed.I am of what some whites in the past have done,But what can I do about 500 years ago,not a damn thing.so why are 21st century whites blamed for everything,we didnt do shit.we know better in 2011, than they did in 1600s.shouldnt we be given credit for at least partially evolving, just my 2 cents

  • this song got me teary eyed.

  • This is absolutely beautiful!! My friend sent this to me when our Grandmother passed away. It really means more to me than she could know! Thank you so much Donna:)

  • @MsDrummerwannabe donnas meh mums name o.0

  • My father was 1/3 Cherokee...I have never heard a song such as this, in the Native American language. Absolutely beautiful, & I felt the Holy Spirit surround me as I listened.

  • I would say that I am very proud of my Cherokee heritage and my family was found on the Henderson roll of 1853. I am a christian and I believe that the powers of Gods Love and love for our Mother Earth will bring us to a understanding surpassing the wildest dreams we would ever have for peace

  • From every nation and every tribe God calls His children to Himself in these last days. God loves all, He offers forgiveness and reconcilliation to all.

  • I kno its so very nice that native Americans love Jesus who new?

  • Too beautiful for words to say.

  • Beautiful arrangement. The NAtive drums speak to me.

  • I respect the native American, the real Americans.Thank you for giving me the opportunity to live in your beautiful Country, A God fearing Nation.

I bought a harvest couple figurine and I don't know if you can call it a coincidence, but With God's blessings, with my family, we continue to harvest good fruits in this land of the free and the home of the brave.

  • @killnigsnatesandjews Thanks, I'm Alaska Native, Athabaskan Indian, but I still consider the Lower 48 Natives my people. A lot of our people are just deeply wounded because of alcohol/drugs and act out to non natives because of what happened over the last couple hundred yrs., you know the history. I personally don't dislike anyone anymore, but sometimes it's unnerving when our people are looked down on so much. As for you, be a little easy on the brothers, take care.

  • @killnigsnatesandjews

you will reap what you sow.

  • Awesome...Amazing...Thank You...Beautiful pics...Kudo's to you...I met the most Amazing Native American Indian when I was 11....gave me the name of "Sunshine"..."I am" and have Blessed since...and since Momma passed not to long ago too....God Bless them both...and miss them dearly...Thank you for "you"

  • @killnigsnatesandjews

I'm Native and don't drink anymore. I've been lucky to have found the red road to walk, but you wouldn't understand anything like that. In our culture thyere's a spiritual way to live, many of our people have lost there way with the introduction of alcohol by white man, but many of us are finding our way back. You should find that Native brother and make things right, heal the wound.

  • i love this song/video!!! it really made me sleepy in a good way

  • This will be my funeral song.. No tears, just the celebration of one´s life and respect..

  • What can be more beautiful than a Native American who loves Jesus!!! I know Anyone who Loves Him.

  • @chiefredwater1965 that comment is utterly stupid, how could they love Jesus, when it was Jesus love who raped their culture and committed genocide & ethnical cleansing on them? America will pay for their cowardy and crime, karma will makes its way on you.

  • @piwitron You ARE STUPID

  • @kathycase15 Well I think is more stupid to live in denial and wishful thinking, but I don't blame you, adoctrination not only comes from a certain religion or system of belief, it's widespread and it's inherent to an economic system as well. Just like at your financial crisis, you both share with Europe, it's deep rooted, it's karma making it's way in finally, lol.

  • It´s beautiful great pictures too!

  • @freecherokeespirit my boyfriend is full blooded and he just read this and told me to ask how come your family is soup cause the only stock he knows of is in soup

  • @limay1111 oh also the only tar baby I know of is in fairy tales so I can't say anything bout him cause idk who your talking bout

  • @limay1111 and if you don't believe me look it up or come to where I live which is Cherokee north Carolina on the Indian reservation and ask a real Indian face to face and I'm not talking bout asking some uneg but actually asking an indian lol

  • @limay1111 lmao what you just said proves so badly that your white lol cherokees never had princesses ever not even one we never were head dresses we never lived in teepees And wev always worn real clothes so many people come to cherokee saying my great grandma was a Cherokee princess and we all just laugh it's funny as crap I honestly can't stop laughing right now we had what we call squalls but all that is is a whore lol you just proved 10000 percent that you are a unega ageyutsv lmao and i

  • @freecherokeespirit what I'm saying tho is that everyone trust to say their Cherokee and that the blood is high like you say your an 8th well if you were then you would be on the roll and getting percap and seen how your most likely not then how will anyone believe you I'm not saying you don't have it in your blood but it's no where near as much as your saying cause after 1/16 blood then it foes into first decendent then to 2nd decendent then after that your blood is gone and no one will say yo

  • @hawaiiangrl1 is chief hicks your uncle or someone else

  • I'm white yea but i have cherokee in me and even though im white cherokee runs through my blood and nothing makes me happier than to know my ancestors were a great cherokee tribe who suffered and endured so much :) also my great great uncle grandma and grandpa was full stock cherokee so im half or 1/8 not sure w/ irish too but still proud to learn all i can of my roots natives fly free

  • my great grand mother was an Indian Princess and My other grand pa was kin to Tar Baby Haney so What does that mean for me?

  • I ain't trying to be mean but all you people saying your Cherokee let's see your Indian card lol im from Cherokee and I live in cherokee I'm a second descendent so I'm white as hell lol I bet none of you guys that are saying your grandparents are Cherokee even know what an indian card is lol you people are crazy

  • @Casperluvstank i totally agree with you! my uncle is a residing native american chief and my great-grandma is full cherokee and i'm still white! i agree with what you are saying fully.

  • thanks . Yeshua knows all tongues; and hearts.

  • @SamanthaWarren You are so right. I miss them in Tahlequah.

  • Because of freedom of choice would be my guess. This video is the best I've seen so far in all categories. Thanks for taking the time for creating it and especially for sharing this with us.

  • To be honest, I don't think Cherokee (and other Native American Tribes) were Christian/Catholic. When the Europeans came to America, they didn't know about the religion until the South Americans introduced them to it. Adding to that, there were a lot of Mexicans who kidnapped Native American Girls and forced them into church. No matter what anyone says, I don't believe that my people were Christian/Catholic to begin with.

  • @meokdah they weren't. They had their OWN religion. Until the English, Spanish (mot Mexican), and French forced it out of them and it was not pretty, I've already taken US history but I'm taking another more indepth US history class and let me tell you it was not pretty. It was just very sad. Being white I feel bad. (Though I'm Irish/Norwegian-Canadian/American)

  • Why Lotus 666? WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE THIS NUMBER? If your a Christian Native American I can't help but to ask why the number of the anti-Christ is in a name you chose? Could you answer this question, please?

  • @GregoryD57 Good question, keep asking !

  • This is so beautiful. It reaches your soul.Love the Native Americans.May the Great Spirit be with them always.

  • i am half cherokee this is such a beautiful song that it touches my heart:)

    thank you

  • Beautiful rendition of a favorite song. Thanks very much for sharing it. ♥

  • I am a quarter cherokee, LOVE THIS SONG

  • Truly, there is something to be admired by the Native Americans. A sense of communion with God and the universe which they knew as the Great Spirit and its union with the natural world.

  • I really really love this !!!!!!!! love the drums!!!! God BLess whoever did this !!!!!!!!

  • This gives me chills it's so hauntingly beautiful. I'm Mexican (with Spaniard of course, fucking conquistadors) but I know I got Apache and Aztec in me... I just wish I had more of a connection. Wish I knew more about the cultures and such.

  • @MaxiLuca well. i can tell you one thing man, the apache and aztecs were completely different than the cherokee culture, much different.

  • @Stalinx20 Oh, dude, I bet they are completely different. But I don't know of the cultures almost at all. For me, it's a longing to get to know some part of me that's hidden, ya know?

  • Most beautiful video

  • Amazing grace... This is a pure disgrace for the Americain Indians that have been destroy by the alcohol, the church and the sickness!!!

    Shame to them!

  • @Ptitnain2

Study up on the Catholic church and the Body of Christ, they are NOT the same thing. Read Foxe's book of Martyres, and see whom the RCC persecuted, they killed Protestants and those who never had joined with the RCC. Catholics call my group, (those who stand by Sola Scriptura) the People of the Book. Baptists and Anabaptists have stood outside the RCC and never were a part. And were killed and tortured along with Jews and others.

  • @whisperingsage they are NOT the same. The Body of Christ has only existed since His resurrection. The Catholic church has been around for years, however many Catholics now believe much the same and the Body of Christ. This I am pleased to know. My sister was Catholic, I went to her funeral, I did not cover my head, but the 'pastor' spoke much like my pastor...except for the wine....which they did not share at all! Now the Catholic church is as diverse as other churches.

  • @Sheila91703 You really can not call Catholic's a Christian church with it's pagan style worship of images of dead men. So called Saints. Who can not hear nor listen to prayers. There is one mediator between God and man, that's Christ Jesus. There are none righteous, no not one.

  • @GregoryD57 Woah. I'm not really that religious and I'm Christian but... " with it's pagan style worship of images of dead men" last time I knew paganism is worship of nature and the goddesses. Right? Maybe I read your comment wrong, but what happened to freedom of religion?

  • @Ptitnain2 ?? calm down man. the cherokee tribe was one of the few that were the purest of politeness and respect, they respected their enemy, and their grandfather, they respected and honored even you. if you are part of this culture, you would understand why the cherokee wrote amazing grace,

  • Found this on the Web: Translation of Cherokee version into English God's son paid for us then to heaven He went after paying for us. But He said, When He rose, "I'll come again" He said when He spoke. All the earth will end when He comes. All will see him All over the earth. All the good people living He will come after. Heaven always, in peace they will live.
  • @AbbasGrl That's just pure shit, american indians didn't believe in this "God" that was so bad with them and that separated them with the nature. Shame to the Church!

  • @Ptitnain2

    If the Bible is true, Adam and Eve are the parents of all of us and we are brethren, all of us. Paul the Apostle said we are of One Blood. Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

  • @Ptitnain2 excuse me. re wrote it amazing grace in cherokee

  • In cherokee it isn't like english, the translation will surprise you; I'm glad to see more of our younger ppl learning the language. It is beautiful and easy once you understand how to pronounce it. My grandmother taught me young I was lucky. It's rather fun for me and my mother; we'll speak it when we see each other. So Wado to all of you that are learning!!!

  • @AnnieOaklie63 you lucky, their lives and history have been my interest for a long time....... wish i had a teacher to teach me more.....

  • I am of mexican descent but I just love the native american culture and this song is already in my library, Walela has a very beautiful voice.

  • @MegaWillsr

I know what you mean. I am 37 years old, this is the first time I have ever heard music sang in Cherokee. It is my own fault for not searching sooner. My father was half Cherokee, he passed when I was in my twenties. I am looking forward to learning more...

  • Pilchritudinously Done, now To my Cherokee Princess," Whitedove", From Lonewolf!

  • I am currently trying to learn the Cherokee language. This song is in the text book I'm studying. Thanks for posting this vid, it's helping me learn the pronunciation. I am proud of my heritage and want to learn more, again thank you!

  • I am also part Cherokee, touches my soul. Even though white man technically ruined everything, my Great Grandfather lives on in my soul, and his blood runs through my veins. I shall honor this.

  • aslaam waley come.dove eye come in the night like a theaf bright light as all are sleep to see your face of grace ,kiss your pain away as long as there are lips to be kissed, love will never die or say bye as my eye will all ways blink and wink and skate my lips over lips to slide my lips against and steal the kiss of tears from your eyes for it is not a crime . 4 eye am kiss me dove there is no place to hide. kissmass dove kissmet frishtha

  • Oh also the Lakota beliefs centered around buffalo and the Cherokee were too busy trying to survive in their climate to develop much religion at all. Its the Iroquois who had the most similar beliefs to Christians in North America. Within the Mayan community, the symbol representing their holiest God was (drumroll) a cross!

  • I don't believe YHWH sent Jesus to Bethlehem to spread His message and just wait like 1700 years for it to catch on among The People. The Great Spirit belief, and the interdependency of all things is too close to the scientific principles that God used to create the universe to be coincidence. There is something to native beliefs that deserves further examination. The Incas (or Aztec?) did prophesy God would come from across the sea. I'm Lakota Sioux, Clan Macintosh, and Clan Donald.

  • This is one of the most inspirational videos I have ever seen. Thank you.

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Simply beautiful, thank you for posting.

  • A beautiful version, our native american indian singing such a blessed song.

God Bless all those who believe. John 3:3-16

  • stunning where can one get them

  • I'm part Cherokee and very proud of my heritage. My great grandmother was full Cherokee and taught my mother about Jesus, who taught me. There is one God, not many. Youtube: The Real Mt Sinai, you will see the God of the Old Covenant, but the same God of the New Covenant ratified it with His own blood, which is even now still in the Earth, so they don't believe in the White mans God, they believe in the true God YHWH, manifested in love through Jesus in the New Covenant.

  • this is awesome best version iv heard yet

  • How Can Another Nation Kill This People? I Can't See None Other Than Devil For Killing Native American Living In Peace, Worshiping Their Creator And Gods Being Aware Of The Nature And Its Energy Directly Connected To The Creator Because It's The Creator In All Sense. And BooM! European Arrived...
