These songs were best suited for females which MAY have caused the downfall of their male opponents...

At the same time, Taylor Hicks' "Do I Make You Proud" was suited for a male performer... thank God Kat sang a different song...

What a rip off. BO and Carrie are so different yet they made him sing this pos. This is why Hicks REFUSED to sing the same song as Kat. Tay is the only one too ever sing a different song. Love Bo but this is horrible. Of course it was desinged for a Carrie win.

feel bad for runner-up b/c ppl predict who win and the runner up seem to never get close the show,sad seein the runner up fall apart diana mesed up a litle on last song bo wasnt great kat was good but simon declared taylor winner in end, season 6 blake had hard time w/ the song..sucks that the runner up usualy happens to be the one im rooting for i love diana and kat more than fantasia and taylor carrie over bo and jordin a little over blake so season 3 and 5 i liked the runner up better

The problem with this song is that it wasn't designed for Bo's voice. It was made for Carrie's country type voice.

Just like if you remember back to the first american idol, "A moment like this" had notes that weren't designed to fit Justin's voice as you heard his voice crack during his performance a couple of times. Granted, Kelly had that competition in the books before the finals began but with a song that fit both their voices, I think Bo could've pulled the win off.

the judges comments were a crock. I rooted for Bo thoughout the entire competition, he's great... but this was nowhere near his best performance; it was definitely his worst. he forgot the words, lost his breath... it just wasn't good. and come on! his first ever performance of drift away had a FAR greater range! this was just a crock...

When it comes to Bo & Carrie..I think it's just a matter of taste. I've always been a Bo fan, but I can appreciate Carrie's talent & I'm not surprised by her success. However, I've always preferred Bo's rendition of this song & apparently so did the judges. Unfortunately, Bo has been plagued by major health problems the last 2 years, having gone through 3 major intestinal surgeries...but he's well now & writing...and so far what I've heard on YT..I like. Bo is back..watch out America!
