i would describe the band as dreamy bedroom rock.  Definitely better than My bloody Valentine just because I only really listen to 3 MBV and the radio dept have many catchy tunes. I really dig them a lot

@sickedpoole I agree. A Window is a subtly yet deeply beautiful song, one of my all-time favorites and definitely a big piece on my life's soundtrack. It's a song you have to openly and sensitively listen to it in order to grasp the unique feeling capture in it. I love My Bloody Valentine. They're a freakin' awesome groundbreaking group and you cannot diss with that. "Loveless" is one of my top 10 all-time favorite albums. But even so I like The Radio Dept. better. They've touched me deeply. XXO
