@HardyRStudios So so right. His strings cry out to u and you are left with tears streaming down your cheeks. This and The Ghost & Mrs. Muir are unsurpassed and so unappreciated by Hollywood pundits. This with the last grandson reciting the Weir of Hurniston as the "first snows of winter fell"
if you want to check how this music fits with Patrice Leconte "Monsieur Hire", please chck this....watch?v=z5J9Iq6UWQM "Monsieur Hire & Bernard Herrmann"....
You are more than welcome! How cool to get "cheers" from the other side of the world! Modern technology is awesome & amazing! Hope you're having a truly wonderful weekend! :-)
@JubalCalif Yes I think that's one of the benefits of technology although it has a dark side as well :) , Thank you again so much for your kind words. I remembered when you said from the other side of the world the Beatles song that said "Looking through the bent backed tulips,To see how the other half lives" Some people in the west thin that we still ride camels and live in the desert, I think technology can help here in bridging these gaps :-)
Well said & well put, my Marvelous Middle East friend! It's always a joy to commuicate with obviously intelligent & articulate people here at youtube! Your friendly words are appreciated much more than I can ever say! :-)
So dystopianly poignant and yet so noble/heroic (if not, indeed both hopeful yet, on the final measure (or is it bar?) a bit pessimistic as well)!! Yet another Bernard Herrmann masterpiece!
Magnifique. Je pourrais l'écouter en boucle des heures durant...
