Considerando che il tuo è un dual core dovresti poter salire ancora.

Un consiglio, fai la Vdrop mod alla p5k se non l'hai ancora fatta, perchè in overclock la p5k tende a perdere voltaggio e quindi frequenza quando i processori sono stressati, con la vdrop mod rimane tutto ok, inoltre non usare per niente asus overclock utility, il bios è il metodo migliore per overcloccare,

ciao, ho la tua stessa scheda madre, ram (solo che ho 4Gb) e raffreddamento, cambiano solo il processore che è un q6600 e la video, una 8800 gts 512 G92.

Ho portato il mio q6600 a 3,7Ghz e quotidianamente a 3,2Ghz.

il mio pc è di 2.4 ghz base lo fatto arrivare a 3.1 ma se lo aumento solo di 100 mhz si blocca al bios.. sai il motivo? magari è l'alimentatore che nn regge?

omg... ok allora è un intel core 2 quad Q6600 2.4 ghz overcloccato a 3.1 temperatura dopo il clock sta su i 35 40 in idle e sui 55 massimi al 100% raffreddamento a liquido come il tuo.. scheda madre della asus P5Q SE vabbè poi ho una scheda video della geforce 8800 gt ma nn credo servi xD l'unica cosa normale che nn ho comprato è l'alimentatore.. però nn capisco il xkè di questo crash.. tu che dici?

Per quanto riguarda la scheda video, no, non serve, ammenochè la 8800GT scalda come la 8800GTS :D.. è un forno xD

8Gb sono un pò difficili da gestire, difatti su un sistema da overclock si tende a mettere 2x2 o2x1 Gb, ma sono di marca? hanno un sistema di dissipazione sopra?

è strano che a si blocca a 3.2.

Una cosa molto importante da vedere è se il tuo processore e q6600 G0 o B2, i G0 vanno molto meglio, controlla anche il "vid" del processore quant'è, più è basso meglio è. Per vedere se è G0 o B2 e il VID usa coretemp (sono quelli scritti in Revision e VID)

Il sistema non si blocca a 3,4 Ghz ma è solo una questione personale di non voler andare oltre.

TeslaGenius, i think you can run @ 3ghz easily :) core temp is good program to test temperatures. and Orthos for testing temperatures in full load :] both you can DL by typing google :) im talking about Win XP, i don't know what programs Vista users should use. And how to make 3ghz? Go in BIOS and use page up and down buttons to increase cpu speed to 3ghz. FSB will automatically raise, so you don't no need to worry about it:) just make sure memory is 1:1(.00)and timings ok. i think thats it :)

I get 3.42 (380 FSB) with 1.375 Vcore (same cpu) and air cooling (Zalman 9500at).

With a good LCS U can reach 4.0 Ghz with no problem.

I overclock for fun as well. I just wanted to see what my cpu could do. I run my cpu at a much lower clock of 3.2 GHz. I've heard of these chips getting 5GHz + with liquid nitrogen. crazy!

I got this case - A decent water cooling kit. (better then yours :P) I plane to OC the e3110 to 5.0GHz - I should make it with temps - but the RAM and mobo might be preventing me. :(

try 3.6Ghz fsb-ram ratio 1:1

cpu frequenty 400 so you should come at 800Mhz ram speed
