You don't have to activate the blades in the one room. When I did it myself, I was like... I didn't have to do that. Everytime I play, though, I can't get passed one particular part. Thanks for the vids!

@PopCoRNaMovie Not exactly. If my memory serves me right, you must have also picked up 2 relics - one in temple of Khamoon, and another one in on this level (in the water room with the huge statues of Horus and Anubis). Which means you have also unlocked some outfits. ;)

you didnt die once? im not a bad player but,you are my hero right now lol. the egypt part was the worst for me because of the rooms with the blades. my lara died a lot in those levels. you're videos helped a lot with the artifacts. thanks so much for posting them. and congratulations on the way you play =)

I'm not a bad player but i've killed lara so many times through the all game. not so much on this level but especially in the part before when you go after the artifacts with all the rooms to then open the doors that leeds to here. those blaides killed my lara so many times,and you do that without even a scratch. it seems so easy lol. thanks for the videos. helpd a lot with the artifacts =)

@giovinnu6 It's called a headshot, and you don't just press a button. You shoot the creature/animal until it becomes enraged. It then roars (the golden things you see around their head are supposed to be soundwaves) and charges at you. Then press Shift and a directional button and Lara will roll away in a direction. When the two grey recticules come together and become one red one, fire. Voilà. One headshot ;)

The platform must be there. My guess is you went the other way and are on a similar room on the other side of the sphynx.

No you didn't otherwise it would have worked. Now if you messed things up it's hard to say exactly what you need to do to since I'm not a seer. The best I can do is explain to you how the puzzle works. Hopefully you can then figure out what to do.

You have an inlaid square on the floor with a column on each of its corners (also notice the pictures on each column). You need to rotate them in such a way that causes matching pictures to face each other along each side of this square.

This can be harder than it sounds since each time you rotate one of the columns, the two columns on the adjacent corners will rotate along with it, while leaving the diametrically opposed column still.

Notice that when you first reach this room all columns have the same orientation (same picture facing the entrance). All you need to do is pick one column and rotate it twice, then do the same with its diametrically opposed column.

This will make the pictures match each other as well as the pictures on the walls. As long as you follow this rule, it doesn't matter which column you pick nor the rotation direction you choose.

I hope that made sense. Sounds confusing but it's quite simple once you get it.

No, not really. It's just a relaxed run through the game showing one possible way to overcome obstacles. If I wanted to impress I would've turned manual grab on. It wouldn't make any difference to me but it would probably impress a lot more.

Unless you have a special gift allowing you to handle the wii like no one I've seen, don't try to play this game compulsively or it will drive you insane. To make it worse, it seems to me a checkpoint is missing here so you'll have to make your way up again every time you die. It's fine on PC because there is no reason why anyone should die with those winged beats. On the wii however, it's a whole different ball game isn't it? Take your time and pause every now and then. :D

I have to play this on the Wii because it jitters and stuff on my computer even though I have vista. If you have any ideas about that please let me know, but I must say it's a royal pain fighting on the Wii. Ty for video, extremely useful as usually.

Assuming your machine fulfills the requirements I have no idea what could be wrong. You can try turning off anti-aliasing. If you run the game at your screen's native resolution it'll still look good and there will be less load on your graphics card.

There's no trick to it. It's a straight forward jump. But it's best if you take a hint from her movement (the arm swinging) like I did. If you don't sometimes she jumps to her death. I'm assuming that's what you're experiencing. It's quite rare but has happened to me a couple of times too.
