  • lovely style, I want to joint a group like that. I sing all my songs a cappelle, care to check them out?

  • Absolutely amazing!!!

  • Is this a professional barbershop? They are pretty good.

  • best quartet ever. period. guys, do another one.

  • @step1990 "Polyphonic" is actually a form of the word "polyphony" which means two or more melodies sounding simultaneously. Polyphonic, as you're using the term, sounds much more like "multiphonic" than polyphonic.

  • Without a doubt, the best quartet performance ever. For someone to hold a note for 17 seconds is simply outstanding.

  • @mrbilliards1962 You'll actually find that holding notes for longer than that is actually very common in professional barbershop quartet arrangements and the more effortlessly they sing shows the true calibur of the quartet.

  • @franklbhs Thank you for your comment. It was very kind of you to do so.

  • Those guys should have a record deal by now. As far as clearity is concern may not be the best but the harmony is beyond perfect. Those guys are originally from heaven they don't fool me. They were sent here to show us how Barbershop Quartet is suppose to sound like. To much ambience in the room, but if they record this song in a studio, everyone will witness they are truly Angels from the most high.

  • @quaccy I suspect it is the camera's fault in the clarity department.

    This is a fantastic quartet.

  • my god................. how can he hold that note for so long brilliant

  • go check out go the distance from vocal spectrum oldskooler. :D.

  • wow. just wow.

  • I love-love-love this performance of Blue Skies!! Fantastic job! No "weak links" in the quartet. I've listened to this countless times and will listen countless more times. Thank you!! I hope to hear more

    Relative Pitch!

  • Awesome job Nathan!!! ( this is Heather by the way)

  • THIS IS GREAT!

  • thats how NC does. killed it. :D

  • who are these guys? I need to find more of them.

  • Thats a marvelous performance!

  • I HATE U ! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! =D

  • oo i can hear the overtones

  • omg!!! i love this its sounds so amazing!! haha i love the harmonies!

  • seriousley?! you think barbershop is only about the sound....your crazy. like someone said earlier, what about the presentation category in scoring. Even if you have the best sound in the world you have to be entertainging, that's what makes barbershop different than a lot of different art forms. it includes great chords and singing and performance. MOVEMENT IS KEY

  • haha. silly. you can't sing chords.

    :)

  • what? I don't understand your comment about "not singing chords"...all the singers sing different pitches which then make a chord, kind of how music works

  • oh. ya, i thought you were referring to a single person singing a chord. My bad.

And i know how music works thank you very much. I play five instruments. quite adeptly in fact.

  • oh ok i can kinda see the confusion in there lol. and wow 5 insturments that's very impressive! I just sing lol

  • Woah. no way. I didn't know that. That's so sweet!

  • For the record one person can sing a chord. It is called polyphonic singing or overtone singing. You can achieve up to 5 notes at once relative to the overtone scale.

  • Just out of interest, which 5 do you play?

I play piano, violin, double bass, tuba, bass guitar, classical guitar, organ, drums and electric guitar. I also tonk on accordions!

  • You Win Life

  • Exquisite...

  • Blue skies!!!!!

That was really great. Hopefully we can see more of these guys on youtube. Add Blue Skies to the tagged words, you'll get a lot more views. (Thats the name of the song)

  • that ending chord game me chills

  • (Better some recording than none! :) for sure.

Such harmony - brought tears to my eyes this time! What's the name of these guys "Relative Pitch" ?

  • type in quadraphonic barbershop quartet they rock

  • Get this 9/11 conspiracy shit out of my Youtube.

  • Would be alot better if the video quality wasn't such crap.

  • do they have a website bc id love to see them perform

  • Check out " Acoustix " Singing National Anthem

  • Blue Skies (Smilin' At Me )

  • What's the name of the song they are singing?

  • Wow these guys have a lot of wind in them!!! love it

  • Fantastic opening!! That one fellow sustaining while the others paused and changed!! AWESOME!!...and the ending had it too? :) Awesome !! (even w/ the crappy recording :) I see what LtsSng1 means by "as a unit". Movements cd b more tgther, yes. Great, though!

  • You guys lucky having Don as your coach! Nice job at denver..

  • Crappy recording...agree make me believe it.. Not bad vocal but stage presence needs work..work as a unit. You may have the sound.. S

  • that was pretty good

  • I see what they mean about 'relative pitch.' Regardless of what the notes they are actually hitting are, they are very in-tune with each other, which is harder than being in tune in general. Good blend. You want to hear the best blend in the history of singing, though, look up the group Chanticleer. They are BEYOND amazing.

  • haha the guys quartet at my school did this song

    pah, would smoke these guys

  • very nice sound

  • these guys have great potential but have absolutely no sp package. In my qtet i know we work so hard on sound and blend etc... that sometimes we run out of time for sp. But more than anything just use the words of the song and just move with the words. i absolutely love the sound.

  • Movement isn't reeeeeeeaaaaaaaally too appropriate in traditional barbershop - like I keep saying, it's all about the sound in barbershop! :)

  • great stuff guys. great stuff. hit everything spot on.

  • have u guys got mp3 pls? id lov to hear this on my ipod

  • sound is definately there...need visuals man...act it out..dnt look dead! good work keep it up

  • Barbershop isn't about movement. Barbershop is ALL about sound...

  • LEGentertainment, If barbershop is ALL about sound, how can you explain the purpose of our presentation category?

  • Barbershop is not ALL about sound, but I do suppose if you suck, you can move around all you want; it want make you good...

  • They competed in the International Collegiate Contest this past summer (2006) and were awesome!! Keep it up guys!!

  • are they a competing quartet?

  • who is this quartet?

  • Relative Pitch
