  • wow,MW speak the truth..very admireable..funny and knows his stuff..thanx mate...

  • hahahahaha love master wong.. you like chubby girl or skinny girl??? hahahaha always gotta have time for jokes in between training

  • whats the difference? spelling of course ^^

  • Wing chun is wing chun all from the same place just separated into different families all principals are the same for the most part , except for weng chun wich uses heaven human and earth concepts .....Im not saying that other branches of wing chun dont use tein yan dei concept

  • Wing Tsun is a branch that Leurng Ting created. Wig Chun is what Yip Man taught and Ving Tsun is just another name for Wing Chun. Ip Chun, Ip Ching and Moy Yat spells it like that. There is also another branch caled Traditional Wing Chun which William Cheung developed and its has its own ways but same principle.

  • And Yip Man's greatest student and the greatest martial artist/fighter of all time is Mr Bruce Lee.

Master Wong is carrying on Bruce Lee's philosophies. Master Wong is that good.

  • Bruce Lee wasnt Yip Mans greatest student. Yip Mans greatest student would not have rejected parts of the WIng Chun system (which is what Lee did when he came up with the concept of JKD). That would defeat the purpose of being Yip Mans greatest student, as Yip Man taught only WIng Chun. I do believe, however, that bruce lee was the greatest martial artist/fighter of all time.

  • but would you not agree that every martial artist needs to evolve. Bruce was merely evolving the art of wing chun into a new system.

  • Bruce Lee had no intention of evolving wing chun. His idea was to evolve himself by rejecting what was useless and incorporating what was useful - and this led to Jeet Kune Do. It was not about Wing Chun for him, and i think people link Bruce Lee and Wing Chun together too much these days. Wing chun was only one part of his life, a part he grew out of as he began to discover himself.

  • his training was wing chun. jeet kun doe was around long before bruce lee. he just liked the philosophy of not being stuck onto 1 style.

  • It's common knowledge that Bruce Lee founded Jeet Kune Do. It was not around long before him. Get your facts straight.

1: "Jeet Kune Do ("Way of the Intercepting Fist," also "Jeet Kun Do","JKD," or "Jeek Kune Do"), is a martial art and life philosophy founded by Bruce Lee."

2: "Jeet Kune Do (JKD) is the name Bruce Lee gave to his combat system and philosophy in 1967. "

Inosanto, Dan (1980). Jeet Kune Do: The Art & Philosophy of Bruce Lee. Know Now Publishing Co.,. pp. 104106.

  • @beejdee jeet kune do has been around a long time befor bruce lee as it is a part of wing chun took out of the 3 form biu jee so there for its been about for hundreds of years.

  • I shall repeat my citations for you. If you still disagree, pm me and ill give you web links to the information. no need to argure here

1: Jeet Kune Do ("Way of the Intercepting Fist," also "Jeet Kun Do","JKD," or "Jeek Kune Do"), is a martial art and life philosophy founded by Bruce Lee.

2: "Jeet Kune Do (JKD) is the name Bruce Lee gave to his combat system and philosophy in 1967. "

Inosanto, Dan (1980). Jeet Kune Do: The Art & Philosophy of Bruce Lee. Know Now Publishing Co.,. pp. 104106

  • @beejdee and you your a fucking waste of sperm jkd is a section of wing chun befor bruce lee took it for his own system believe what you want on web sites god your a cunt. i tell you what don't message me back hic just go and hang your self

  • @GemGem671

If you had a brain you'd realise those references I gave were from books. show me anything that proves what you are saying. Bruce lee studied wing chun, then moved on later in life to develop Jeet Kune Do which he himself named.

  • @beejdee look at the wing chun syllabus its there.

  • @GemGem671

I currently learn Wing Chun at the International Wing Chun Academy in Australia. Jeet Kune Do is not from the wing chun syllabus. Jeet Kune Do is a concept not a style. The whole point of JKD is to take the most useful of anything you find and incorporate it into your own learning. THAT is it's basis. He developed it AFTER he studied wing chun. Whoever told you that JKD was part of wing chun or that it was around before bruce lee is an idiot. do research and you'll see for yourself

  • @beejdee your full of shit i have been doing wing chun all my life i have seen it in wing chun time and time agen. well you say that there a idiot but it was ip chun and ip ching that told me there self when i use to train with them.

  • @GemGem671

This is a waste of my time. I refuse to continue this argument when you make up rubbish to support what you are saying. Whether you think you see it in wing chun or not. IT WAS DEVELOPED YEARS AFTER HE TRAINED IN WING CHUN. Read about his life and you'll see. JKD is a concept and had NO SET TECNNIQUES. that was the whole point of JKD. Bruce Lee developed it AND named it. stop wasting my time for the sake of an argument.

  • @GemGem671

    LOL

    Youre deluded, my friend :(

  • @GemGem671 wing chun was created by a woman, the story goes, that a woman was challenge to beat a well train male guard for a reason i canot remember..i think it was freedom...

the woman was small and the guard was a great martial artist and the winner of the fight was inevitable.

but the woman developed her own style called wing chun, where she would use faster and more punches against the bigger and stronger man...

and the woman beat the male guard and wing chun was born..

  • @quickmantan whats your point nobhead i know that

  • @quickmantan

Correction: It was developed by a Buddhist nun called Ng Mui, who taught it to another woman called Yim Wing Chun so that she could beat the man who was to be her suitor (she did not want to marry him). The style was named after Yim Wing Chun.

  • yea I knw what you mean, Wing Chun had an influence on him but it wasnt like the only thing, I never hear anyone go "oh fencing is awesome, because Bruce Lee used it in his Jeet Kune Do" or pple praising Mantis style foot work for influencing Monkey. There's seperations and mixtures all around, they're not all that simular, more like cousins or something

  • Master Wong Tea Party

  • EVAN FOR PRESIDENT

  • master wong never said his age. what is your age MW??

  • For those who want to know what is the difference between "Wing Chung" and "Ving Tsun".

Both of branches originate from Ip Man.

Ving Tsun from his young days (when his stile was harder and with more agressive) over Wong Shun Leung, one of his first students from FoShan which is active in America.

Wing Chung came to Europe over IpMans late student Samuel Kwok and it is softer but more precizely way of Wing Chun after IpMan has perfected his style in Hong Kong. I have read so.

  • lol "the chupy giw and the skinny giw"

  • skinny for me but chubbys need love too

    :D

  • I think it's awesome all your stuff is for free.

  • some very good advice in this video..

  • Great master:)

  • 3rd long live master wong!

  • second comment

  • first comment. go master wong!
