Yup! I think for yours is a very good deal!! $3.90!! xD The plastic ones are actually more accurate in design though (In my opinion) but it costs like SGD$15 (no stock.. T^T) So I got the same as yours too (metal lock +key)! Very pretty!!! And I love it!! x3

Those ones you have are PLASTIC.

The gems in these METAL locks and keys are CRYSTALS.

Please understand that these have, on the box, in japanese writing, it says: SHUGO CHARA/SHUGO CHARA. Both Katakana and Kanji for Shugo Chara. They are not fake.

While these keys and locks do look very nicely made, they could in fact be counterfeit. Part of what hints at this is the fact that they cost so little (assuming you bought them new) and that the box is so plain. Many items for anime and things have counterfeits made. It's not too big of a deal, though. I mean, if the official one is no longer being made, then the official company hasn't lost money.

But these are high quality, I've worn both Key and Lock as Jewelry, and they haven't worn or given off a nasty "green" rubbing on my skin and they are very well made.

I would assume these are chinese versions, because Japan and China use the same Kanji, non?

Mandarin and Japanese do indeed use the same kanji, although the do not always mean the same thing.

While not all counterfeits are of a good quality, some can be. Does the packaging have any copyright info on it? If not, it's pretty well a fake. Also, I was looking on ebay and saw the same box with one in purple, which isn't one of her colors.

As I said, it's not too big of a deal. Many Japanese companies add extra things (stickers, labels, pamphlets) to their items to try and hinder fakes.

I wouldn't suggest using it as a real lock on a locker. It would most likely break under pressure and it would be ruined or stolen.

Well, shipping from China was around 11 dollars, and with border fee's, it came to a total of about 20$. But it's still a VERY good deal, considering the plastic ones you can get are MORE then that on their OWN.
