i have a problem with my ion and when i press the trigger once or twice and it wont fire, but then it fires on the second or third press and then itll shoot fine after that. but then if i stop shooting for a short time, itll repeat this problem again. can anyone please help?

@420riderrr sounds like its flooding. try turning down your reg pressure and see if that helps.

run a dwell of 40, and rate of fire of 8 from the max setting. This will use less air per shot, and give the gun more time to recharge. Hense less drop-off at 17 BPS. Use a combination of 48. goto this link to properly set up your ion to shoot 17bps and be the most efficient you could use 1 of thousands of combinations of setting from the cheat sheet.

52 is actually the max. So if you just press the up button untill it stops blinking you are at 52.

no there isnt really. But for a good start i would say set your dwell to 52 and set your recharge all the way down.

You should lower the stock dwell settings, just a tiny bit. More dwell = better shot consistancy, less dwell = better air efficiency

High dwell will eat your air

It's an ion either way. It's design is not the most air effecient anyways. The difference between stock and lowering it a little bit will be negligible.

rebound is when you pull the trigger it shoots and when you let off it shoots again. so a whole trigger pull will shoot twice

A setting you can set your board to. It electronicly makes your gun shoot faster then you are pulling the trigger. For example psp ramping you have to maintain shooting approx. 6 bps and the board will electronicly make your gun shoot 13 bps.

so i installed a QEV in my ion xe,so i should be able to lower the DWELL? becouse i still have the stock DWELL and RECHARGE setting.the QEV should be able to increase gas effiency and i think my ion is wasting air ,i have a 3000psi tank it it goes down fast,can you help me

Yes the dwell can go down a bit, read the description of this video for how to set it. The QEV will just barely effect your efficiency so its likely you wouldnt notice a difference, you should just invest in a good tank. Also, whats up with the random capslock?

sorry that is completely impossible. If you understood how the gun worked you would understand that the dwell could NOT effect the pressure of the air in the solonoid. Message me and explain to me how a higher dwell would cause a blown solonoid.

Well, why would we know? Send it to SmartParts because all stock Ions come with it on the board. Maybe you don't have the Ion Stock board. The US version has Semi, Rebound (Ramping), 3 shot burst and Full Auto at 10 BPS. The UK ones I think only have Semi and Rebound.
