well, it depends on what kind of thick hair you have. i have curly hair--not wavy, or a little curly, but CURLY. i tried thinning it, because my hair's thick too, and that worsened it by a lot. if you have curly hair, i would definitely not suggest thinning it, because anyone with curly hair knows that the shorter it is, the more wild and kinky it is...anywho, lol, just wanted to say that so nobody makes the mistake i did.

i have heavy hair and it isnt so great when theres a lot of humidity cause it frizzes

condition it loads and loads, literally, i had the same problem, i used deep conditioning hair treatmeants in my hair for six weeks after every shampoo and saw a difference, my hair no longer gets frizzy its more supple. and if your hair is thick a good idea is to get it thinned out, with loads of layers, i had very long, bunchy heavy hair and when they thinned it out and put layers in it was so much easier to manage :)

tbh i have very thick hair and even though it takes me and hour to get my hair straight when i get out the shower and id very much like to get it thinned out i remember that im lucky to have thick hair as you can do anything to it...curls etc...if your a lazy person then i guess thin hair is better for you.
