  • Bless this woman, one of the very last links to the true Golden Age of Hollywood. Still alive and well, she is a living gem...

  • AWESOME

  • Carla Laemmle looks Beautiful in all of the pictures of her in that YouTube video of her.

  • A very nice lady! She autographed the photos I sent and add two more for me! 101 years young!

  • Carla was the first person ever to speak in a sound horror film (the opening line in "Dracula" 1931). Lovely tribute.

  • I am just writing to her today and I hope she gets it okay....

  • im related to her!

  • There are 2 books out about her life. Just type her name in google & go to wikipedia to find out the titles.

  • So amazing Carla was and is

  • We're talking a living legend. I would LOVE to hear her stories of the Grand Age of Hollywood from someone who was there. She could write the book!

  • @myronjenkins she did with the help of someone. its called among the rugged peaks

  • She still has that beautiful smile and great sense of humor, I enjoy taking her to concerts and dinner whenever I can. We are planning a big birthday party for her 100th. She is all excited about it.

  • Well tell her I enjoyed talking to her for the Forrest Ackerman doc I did in 2007- Famous Monster...though she only appears briefly in film, her entire interview shows up in extras in dvd....basically me awkwardly asking her questions about Dracula...very nice..

I noticed she showed up for Uncle Forry's memorial in March on the arm of Ron Chaney....cool...

    Happy 100, Carla....
