when your doing the begining part.place one finger on the green and leave it there and it the other notes without strumming but keep the finger on the green note while you hit the others till you get to the other parts.thats why when i play this song i keep the guitar on my lap for the begining part till it gets to the others.lol

If you can't do the intro then watch guitarherophenoms tutorial (if it still is on youtube) That helped me alot and in a few days training and i can do 90% + on this song every time.

Yes, they are, since the game just checks if you're holding in the button once the note passes, and not if you actaully hit the button when the note passes.
