Two copies of Apache came out very close in time to each other. Jorgen Ingemann did one version and the Shadows did the other. Who came first is hard to say. Both versions are excellent. This clip, I believe, follows suit with the Jorgen Ingemann version. People always seem to give the Ventures credit, but they came much later. The Ventures get credit for pipeline, too, but that was written and recorded by Bob Spickard and recorded by the Chantays.
I have grown up listening to Ventures, and I really love the way you play it. Its very nice to watch .. and I am inspired to play some of the classic venture tunes now.
Way to go!! i love Apache. I used to have some Music Minus One records (as in vinyl LP's) for Ventures stuff. It was great! They taught you all the parts - lead, rhythm, and bass. This really takes me back. you do a nice job of this one!
