Then sora turned into a heartless and left his body to go into the realm of darkness. While sora was a heartless his regular body was there but with no heart. Since sora's body had no heart at the time he was now considered a nobody which turned into roxas.
So if this does take place before kingdom hearts 1 then there's no way any of those characters are roxas or sora for that matter.

This isn't Kingdom Hearts 3, it's just a concept trailer like Deep Dive was. Just a CG concept of what Nomura most likely will do with the KH series, but this takes place in the past anyway. It was later revealed that this became the PSP title Birth By Sleep anyway.

well, the reason why terra fought sora was because he thought he was xehanort, because he wasnt the one he chose for the keyblade. anyways...there is no real reason why they fought, testuya nomura said he just wanted to put it in. but it did reveal aqua's name and that sora wasnt meant for the keyblade (obviously riku)

there is not going to be a kh3 its just birth by sleep on psp they never anouced a kingdom hearts 3 with sora donald and goofy! its birth by sleep! read about it! and birth by sleep is the 3rd game in the kindom hearts series. also there's kingdom hearts 358/2 days on ds!

my new theory is that Ven IS Roxas. In the trailer Ven supposedly dies cuz he's frozen. The title "Birth by Sleep" can mean that Ven was reborn as Roxas when Sora became a heartless when he had to save Kairi. SO, in the end, Ven is linked to Roxas cuz he was born by sleep when Sora became a heartless.(applause)

This isn't Kingdom Hearts 3, it's just a concept trailer like Deep Dive was. Just a CG concept of what Nomura most likely will do with the KH series, but this takes place in the past anyway. It was later revealed that this became the PSP title Birth By Sleep anyway.

aye u guys were tlking about how sora riku and kairi where seen yea they where probably 3 or 4 and can't remember there parents. cuz they left destiny islands and usee how in kh1 they were on the island alone thats probably becuz there parents died in the war. and told mickey to give there kids the keyblades so they can protect each other cuz in kh1 sora already had his keychain so did kairia and riku cuz there names in japenese sound the same as the keybladers now. so that can be a theory

Birth By Sleep takes place about 10 years before the original Kingdom Hearts. Before Sora wielded the Keyblade, there were other Keyblade masters.

no sora is 4 and was playing swords with riku in front of terra, and so that means ven was around the same time. and no there is no "incarnations" in kingdom hearts although ansem the wise thought it at first as a theory

well, the reason why terra fought sora was because he thought he was xehanort, because he wasnt the one he chose for the keyblade. anyways...there is no real reason why they fought, testuya nomura said he just wanted to put it in. but it did reveal aqua's name and that sora wasnt meant for the keyblade (obviously riku)
