  • Well...short for some...for sure dentists who wish to know this methodology.

    Doc

  • it's not a short demonstration it took 9min 3sec :))

  • Good day. Recently we placed an ad in Dentistry Today, May 2011, about this process. We have made it more efficient and effective for the dentist by simplifying as shown in the carlson bridge "winged pontic" slide show. Google or you tube carlson bridge "winged pontic" slide show. Aloha...

  • Hi! I love this video. I have a missing front tooth. Do you know if all the dentist use this technology for this case now? If not ... Do you know any dentist in Lakeland, Haines City or Winter Haven in Florida using the Carlson Brideg tecnology? Thank you su much

  • @Georgiohh1 Dr. Kim 2781 W. Old Hwy 441 Mt. Dora, Fl 32757 tel: 1-352-385-1971

  • @carlsonbridge Thank you so much for helping me to find a dentist close to my city! As you know I love this methodology. I am going to call Dr. Kim next Monday.

  • @Georgiohh1 Great! If you or Dr. Kim are in need of more information or assistance, call me at 808-735-0282 or 223-1782. Doc

  • @carlsonbridge Hi I met Dr Kim and she said that I am not a good candidate to get the Carlson bridge because I have no room to put the wings. Sad to said.

  • good grief people, I touch my teeth with my fingers daily, and I put food in my mouth... If not wearing gloves would make my dentist more comfortable, that would be my primary concern :P Just don't drill through my face

  • Regarding implants, watch associated videos in the accompanying links demonstrating implant failure. It is 36 sec. and well worth your viewing. A Carlson Bridge could have been done in a 2 hour procedure. Visit Google Carlson Bridge and you'll connect with our web site to learn more about Bio-Synergetic-Bio-Logical Dentistry. Aloha...

  • The question is, "How much is it?" Each human is different and costs vary. Generally, a single tooth replacement--front or back--involving two support teeth is about #2,600.00. Traditional metal/ceramic bridges run $3,600.00 up and a single implant about $4,000.00. But, money is not the issue really. The benefit of this process is not having to do implant surgery or cut the support teeth into stubs.

    Aloha...

    Dr. R.S.Carlson

  • How much is it? $15,000?

  • Good Work Creates Good Luck!

  • I LOVE IT!! Wish i would have done this instead of getting this bad root canal.. Can u help me please

  • this is worse than watching the horror "SAW"

  • How strong is this?? as i thought this works only when the area is non loading like the lower anteriors. what kind of bonding did you use??

  • A Bridge teeth looks like it's floating in air. Can you chew hard foods on a teeth like this?

  • Comment removed

  • why are they not wearing gloves?????

  • @amoabd One reason is lack of fear,

another is high level of hygiene.

Check out some of the older posts for more of the reasons.

And thanks for watching and commenting

    on this cutting edge procedure!

  • @amoabd dont concern yourself with that.

    This is a demonstration video.

    And he is very hygienic.

And he is married to that patient.

  • ive got to have this done i am fucking shitting myself

  • i like this much better than the thought of metal screwing through my bone even when the reason is cosmetic rather than important

  • I do not advise implants. They are corrosive electrically and disturb the meridians of the body. Also painful, they often become infected and must be removed. The approach we advocate is non-invasive, and by maintaining the integrity of the arch with the Carlson Bridge one may protect from possible bone loss around the remaining teeth.

Go to our web site carlson bioloigcal dentistry and study the papers. Thank you. Dr. Carlson

  • Will this procedure prevent bone loss? and is it better than an Implant? thanks

  • i am one of dr carlson patients.I am vouching for his procedue,it best as he says, there is no comaprison, its the procedure of future.HE DOES WEAR GLOVES BUT REMOVES IT SOMETIMES AS HE SHAPES THE TEETH ,WHICH IS ACCEPTABLE..I am from ny,hope u remember me,(dont mention my name )here

  • twas very very helpful and informative.thanks for the upload. i'm going thru the exact same problem and hoping to do the same. no choice actually. bt one thing that bothered me was y nobody was wearing any gloves???

  • I think it looks great! I know it works well for as of this date, November 20, 2009, this specific Carlson Bridge done for my wife is not only function as intended, but looks as good as the day of placement which was July 2005! A simple solution to a complex problem is what we have here, truly Bio-Synergetic Dental Surgery!

  • Yeah, I don't think it looks perfect either, but I guess that's one of the only options you have when your front tooth is totally infected... except maybe an implant. But my question is... what freakin' dentist doesn't wear gloves when they've got their fingers in your mouth? Gross. I thought that was mandatory???

  • Looks okay , but i think i would prefer an implanted tooth ...i have doubts wether this would be very strong and hardwearing ...also flossing would be difficult ?

  • Comment removed

  • That looks like crap

  • wow the result was very good but can anyone tell me why they removed the teeth? was it giving too much problems? was it possible to save it? dentostry videos are so damn interesting!!

  • Answer: papers found on the carlson biological dentistry web site. Visit this site and the papers disclose the augmentation of the immediate extraction carlson bridge.

    Aloha and thank you.

  • Do you have a vid where the gum has resorbed and you have to extend the bridge up to the gum line????? Do you grind the bridge off and make a new one???? Or do you leave it until it fractures??????

  • "Root Filled Teeth" or, "Root Canaled Teeth," are "Endodontically Treated Teeth." Any dentist worth his salt knows the terms used here are watered down, they are euphemisms--a "euphuism." A "euphuism" is an "artificial, highly elaborate way of writing or speaking." The tooth that is dead is termed "gangrenous pulpitis," and the process of "saving the tooth with modern endodontics" is MUMIFICATION!

From our point of view, stay with your root canals, for you'll be buried together!

  • Infected Root Filled teeth, gangrenous, serve no good purpose in the Human body. For an in depth review of this conversation, visit carlson biological dentistry!

    Aloha,

    Dr. Carlson

  • Why did you remove the tooth though? If it has a bad root canal you could have made a new one.

  • i'm not a dentist and i respect your work but to be honest i don't really like the way it looks , i would never get something like that in my mouth , but after all you did a good job

  • High quality composites do not stain. One is advised to exercise caution whenever crunching hard foods on this kind of work. Rarely, however, are there fractures and if they do occur they are easily repaired.

    Thank you.

    Dr. Carlson

  • helloo. am a dental student and thats am intresting idea ... i have a question is the patient allowed to eat hard foods like carrots and so on ... please ill be glad full for a reply.. but at the same time i think its a bad idea to replace with a composite because composite can easily be stained

  • We connected via email yesterday. Yes, multiple teeth may be restructured easily, up to 4! Nevertheless, one must always exercise care when using the bridgework or any other type of tooth replacement such as traditional bridges requiring cutting teeth down, partial dentures, or implants. This is the finest way bar none to replace missing teeth both from a financial point of view and oral trauma.

Aloha and thank you for your question.

    Dr. R.S.Carlson

  • Dear Dr Carlson ,is this procedure acceptable for two missing upper central incisor .The lateral incisors are healthy.Could you also let know place and dentist who perform in New York

  • Gloves are used, and not used, in dental work according to need. Both happened in this presentation.

  • Most dentists I used always wore gloves on when doing dental work, including the dental hygenists....the only ones who didn't wear gloves for dental work was about 30 years ago....and because of sanitary reasons, dentists today wore gloves on.

  • im gettin bridge tommorrow!! a plastic one first until my gum heels then a metal one

  • sorry to hear that!

I would really recommend against it!

  • Aloha and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

May your years be blessed with the Light of Great God and Truth and the Abundance of Creators Great Universe.

    Dr. Carlson

  • Thank you for your kind and warm feeling remarks! Good fellow, or "odd fellow," be advised that my work that has now been infringed by a major Dental Supply company validating the Carlson Bridge(r) Technology. I've been placing Carlson Bridges since 1989 and would have been long out of work and credibility if they only lasted 24 months. The young lady in the video had her bridge done in July 2005. It is working for her very well thank you. Fibers only weaken the composite matrix.

    Aloha

  • Yes I can see you don't like the idea of professional conduct as it would stop scruffy sods like you. Was Dr Acer a contemporary of yours as his AIDS infected patients were probably not too happy? If you would like to improve this technique try incorporating fibres as this dramatically increases the strength. Research papers only support this as a temporary measure up to 24 months even with this improvement.

  • Thank you for your comments!

  • I am not in the UK, thank God! I live in the land of the Free, home of the Brave! Fools like you follow Big Brother and the dictates of so called "professional conduct." Did you create this remarkable process? I've been in practice long before your were born and I dare say without incident regarding injury to my patients. Spew your venom else where, "odd fellow!" Aloha

  • In the uk you would face charges of serious professional misconduct for not wearing gloves. How do you sterilize your instruments- wipe them on your tie?

  • In the uk you would face charges of serious professional misconduct for not wearing gloves. I would be surprised if the situation is not the same in the USA. How do you sterilize your instruments- wipe them on your tie?

  • Sir, Good day!

I would be concerned with the "technique" they end up using, for a fixed bridge done in the traditional manner will render your support teeth on either side of the recently extracted tooth #9 into stubs, leading to their early demise.

Carlson Bridge is a "non-violent" approach and if I were you have your local dentist review the concepts presented on our web site Carlsonbiologicaldentistry.

    My best to you!

    Dr. Carlson

  • Dear "A dentist", however I doubt it! But if you are be advised:

Patents are not to preclude others skilled in the art to do what I am advocating. Patents present in the public domain possibilities for advancing an art and science. The patenting of the Carlson Bridge(r) is only to have done due diligence and share with others so they may learn a Non-Violent way of reconstructing missing teeth.

Say what you will, I am confident that your complaints only reflect you own limitations.

    Dr. C

  • Interesting, I have just had my number 9 tooth extracted prior to a bridge. I don't think British dentists use this technique, but I may be wrong.

I'm not too bothered which technique they end up using as long as I get my old smile back.

  • Dear Dr. Carlson. What a mumbojumbo - thats just a moneymachine, your carlsonbridge and your website 'carlsonbiologicaldentistry'. This way of replacing a missing tooth is not a patented approach. Every dentist knows this method. So dear patient, don't buy this DVD for 59.95 dollars, throw them out of the window, or spend the money on a nice dinner together with your lover!

  • Nice final aesthetics, however...

    a) put some bond over the gloves if necc...but pls wear gloves

    b) if over years your composite debonds (can happen even in the best of cases)due to occ forces... there is no way of telling in your case because it is locked within undercuts...therfore high chance of encouraging sec caries....thus the reason for adhesive bridges..if it debonds you are aware of it

c)pt should have been pushed towards an implant

but thank you the video.. a nice final result :)

  • with care and easy chewing on the bridge it may last as long as 12+ years.

  • how long will the bridge last.

  • i just got a bridge today abd it looks horrible

where is this procedure done, what materials are used. Is it done in Europe also?

  • Regarding your comment "since the chemical makeup of gloves prohibits the setting of the stent materials and the composites".Try vinyl gloves

  • Skin hygiene, particularly of hands, is considered to be one of the primary mechanisms to reduce risk of transmission of infectious agents by both the contact and fecal-oral routes. There is a mass of empirical evidence, which supports the advantage of latex gloves and their use in reducing cross infection in dentistry. Regarding your comment "since the chemical makeup of gloves prohibits the setting of the stent materials and the composites". Try vinyl gloves

  • Gloves are not required, nor do they afford one the protection alleged. In the extraction of teeth it is advised and this video shows the removal with gloves. Construction of the CarlsonBridge(r) cannot be done with gloves since the chemical makeup of gloves prohibits the setting of the stent materials and the composites.

Thank you for your input, however.

    Dr. R. S. Carlson/Agent SRI

  • please use gloves

  • This is NOT how "normal" dental bridges are constructed.

Usually the teeth to either side are ground down to pegs.

And that is just the first step.

  • So this is how a Bridge is done.

  • He is so very clean....

  • he is working withe out gloves ... !!!!!
