I prefer my foreign films in their original languages with subtitles (das Boot DV has both - I always watch it in German). Dubbing is tacky and wrecks the film. Why not hear it the way it was acted, read the subtitles and learn a little about another language. Beyond that, I really love the opening score here with the high melody and the deep bass tension builder!.

This is a replica of Gee Bee Z which won the 1931 Thompson trophy, not long after, in attempt to break the air speed record it tore apart killing pilot Lowell Bayles in one of the most spectacular crashes captured on film today! Search for is I'm sure you'll find it. I built a nearly half scale replica RC plane of the Z and it was the tops! Will post footage one day when I can be bothered converting footage from VCR tape!

That airplane was actually built and destroyed in 1931. The Gee Bee Z Model....the original i mean. The Granville Bothers actually went bankrupt in '34

Jeg er ikke imod andre sprog, men jeg er vant til at film bliver vist på originalsproget, og så med undertekster på hvilket sprog man nu selv foretrækker. Det er ikke kun amerikanere, der foretrækker engelsk. Der er faktisk en grund til at det hedder engelsk og ikke amerikansk. Jeg er forresten ikke sikker på, at det sprog de taler i USA fortjener titlen "engelsk".

Men det ville faktisk være rart hvis nogen kunne lægge filmen ud på originalsproget, så flere kunne nyde den :-)

According to Dave Stevens it was originally slated to be released as a Touchstone Pictures release in the USA, but it was changed to Walt Disney Pictures late in the process.

In Europe it was released as Touchstone Pictures release, perhaps due to its failure on the US boxoffice and/or because to Disney name would bring unwanted associations.
