I was only asking because you had that scripture up there, and it says "Being made so much better than the angels," so I wasn't sure if that implied that he was made, i.e. created better than them, or just given a title better than them(though if he were God I wouldn't see how he'd have to be given a title over them). I guess my confusion stems from the idea that, if someone makes me something, doesn't that imply that I wasn't already that thing? Shouldn't Jesus, being God, have already been over everything? I wouldn't imagine the need to make or put him over everything if he created everything, and hence was over everything from time immemorial.
First only God has creative power. Since Jesus created things then He is God. He became or was made the Son of God. He became in the flesh what no angel or archangel could ever be.

This video is not about Sunday it is about the false Christology Adventist teach. Romans 14:5-6 chose what day you like, but give it to the Lord. You seem to be more worried about a day more than the truth about Christ. The Catholic Church has mass everyday including Saturday which is given to the Lord God Almighty, are we called to Christ supper just one day specific day of the week? They would have no need to try and enforce some silly Sunday law when they recognize everyday as the Lords.

Michael the archangel is never given this prophecy or title. Micheal is captain of the "Lord's host" an angel, subordinate to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is Lord and the "Lord of Host," He is Lord over the captain of host.

No where in scripture is Jesus called by the name Michael an angel. No where in scripture does anyone ever declared Jesus is an archangel ever. Michael never says he is the son of God, he never claims the name of the Messiah, and Jesus never called himself an archangel or by the name Micheal, No where is it even implied. It is not written. Jesus is the Son of God & The everlasting Father, not a created angel. Jesus has always eternally existed before the angels were created.
I do want to clarify my earlier comment about this angelgate organization. The angel that appears to this guy claims to be Archangel Michael. I believe instead he is actually speaking to demonic spirits and is decieved but in no way am I saying that the true archangel Michael is demonic. satan was a beautiful angel and can appear as a glorious angel of light. So it's important to know God's Word so we can test these appearings and not be decieved. Jesus specifically warns us of this.
We will have to test them out to know if there is any light in them by testing it to the Word of God and the Word of God alone. I'm not going to be testing it against the words of Ellen White. What I have read of her writings so far has been Biblical, but I haven't read everything. She's written a lot of books, and I haven't even scratched the surface. So it's sola Scriptura for me and all the SDA's I know. And we know she has made error and recognized it. So did some of the prophets of the Book
I'll tell you what if an angel appeared to me saying he was archangel Michael and that he was Jesus Christ, I would be very guarded. VEEEEERRRRRY guarded. I'd be praying to God to give me spiritual discernment and His Word and for His protection. The important thing to be aware of is how the True appearing of Christ will take place. Of course we will have to rely on God's Word and only on His wisdom because there will be True prophets and counterfeit. We will have to test them.

Jesus Christ is God, every bit as much God as God the Father and the Holy Spirit, we do not believe Jesus is lesser or created. And you will never read that or hear that in any SDA material. I know that your issue is that some SDA's say Archangel Michael is another name for Jesus, as I said I'm not particularly convicted of that nor is it a major doctrine of ours.
I'm not a big student of EGW, which doesn't mean I'm against her, but if it isn't Biblically sound, I in no way feel I have to accept that. I put my faith In God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit first and last. If EGW is in accord wtih that then I accept it and if not, I don't. We believe in the miracles of God, but we certainly aren't going to rush out to see Mary's face on the side of a building and worship it. We have to know the Word of God and test things out.

This is an interesting debate. I'm SDA but not convicted that Archangel Michael and Jesus Christ are the same personage. I do know that there is a new age group, called angels gate I think, where the head guy claims he speaks with Archangel Michael. I believe whoever he's speaking to be demonic spirits, not holy angels. Michael may be Christ, as Jesus is. Christ simply means "Anointed One", in other words "Enlightened Trancendent Being" or "Vessel made fit to be filled with the Spirit of Truth".

It wasn't God in his full form because we know no one has seen God's full unveiled glory. Answer my question? Why would Jesus need to come back as an archangel? As I mentioned, when He rose from the dead He was not an archangel, he ascended by his own power into heaven he was body, soul and divinity. Now why would He at his second coming be the archangel Michael?

In both cases the term [one of] and the word [princes] are plural meaning more than one. This would mean there are other chief angels and Michael is not the only one. How does one explain the plural forms? Meaning there are other chief princes?
If someone thinks Michael is Jesus, Dan 10:13 can't mean God has more Sons like Michael who you all say is Jesus? Does God have more Sons who are Archangels? Or More Sons like Jesus? Of course none of those answers would be true.
Or could it mean what it really says?
That Michael one of the chief princes came and helped Daniel. There are legions of angels in Heaven, Matt 26:53, and Dan 10:13 shows us there is more than one archangel and None of them are Jesus Christ.

The sense in which Michael is a prince (ONE OF the chief princes, your prince, great prince) is as the dragon is a prince (prince of the power of the air, Eph 2:2). They are at somewhat the same level. Look at Rev 12:7, "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels," and see the parallelism between Michael and the dragon. By claiming Jesus is Michael, SDAs approach the Mormon doctrine that Jesus and satan are brothers.

Apparently you cannot comprehend scripture and only parrot others you have read. Zech 3:2 has nothing to do with Jude 9. In fact there is an ontological difference between Michael and the Lord in Jude 9. Jesus is Lord and Michael calls upon the Lord, who is Jesus to rebuke Satan. Furthermore, God the Father calls the Son, "O God", in Hebrews 1:8, and John 1:1 reveals Jesus to be God Almighty, not to mention too many others to list here. I was only asking because you had that scripture up there, and it says "Being made so much better than the angels," so I wasn't sure if that implied that he was made, i.e. created better than them, or just given a title better than them(though if he were God I wouldn't see how he'd have to be given a title over them). I guess my confusion stems from the idea that, if someone makes me something, doesn't that imply that I wasn't already that thing? Shouldn't Jesus, being God, have already been over everything? This video is not about Sunday it is about the false Christology Adventist teach. Romans 14:5-6 chose what day you like, but give it to the Lord. You seem to be more worried about a day more than the truth about Christ. The Catholic Church has mass everyday including Saturday which is given to the Lord God Almighty, are we called to Christ supper just one day specific day of the week? No where in scripture is Jesus called by the name Michael an angel. No where in scripture does anyone ever declared Jesus is an archangel ever. Michael never says he is the son of God, he never claims the name of the Messiah, and Jesus never called himself an archangel or by the name Micheal, No where is it even implied. It is not written. Jesus is the Son of God & The everlasting Father, not a created angel. Jesus has always eternally existed before the angels were created.

I do want to clarify my earlier comment about this angelgate organization. The angel that appears to this guy claims to be Archangel Michael. I believe instead he is actually speaking to demonic spirits and is decieved but in no way am I saying that the true archangel Michael is demonic. satan was a beautiful angel and can appear as a glorious angel of light. So it's important to know God's Word so we can test these appearings and not be decieved. Jesus specifically warns us of this.

We will have to test them out to know if there is any light in them by testing it to the Word of God and the Word of God alone. I'm not going to be testing it against the words of Ellen White. What I have read of her writings so far has been Biblical, but I haven't read everything. She's written a lot of books, and I haven't even scratched the surface. So it's sola Scriptura for me and all the SDA's I know. And we know she has made error and recognized it. So did some of the prophets of the Book

I'll tell you what if an angel appeared to me saying he was archangel Michael and that he was Jesus Christ, I would be very guarded. VEEEEERRRRRY guarded. I'd be praying to God to give me spiritual discernment and His Word and for His protection. The important thing to be aware of is how the True appearing of Christ will take place. Of course we will have to rely on God's Word and only on His wisdom because there will be True prophets and counterfeit. We will have to test them.

Bingolly, respectfully, SDA's would never deny the deity of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God, every bit as much God as God the Father and the Holy Spirit, we do not believe Jesus is lesser or created. And you will never read that or hear that in any SDA material. I know that your issue is that some SDA's say Archangel Michael is another name for Jesus, as I said I'm not particularly convicted of that nor is it a major doctrine of ours.

I'm not a big student of EGW, which doesn't mean I'm against her, but if it isn't Biblically sound, I in no way feel I have to accept that. I put my faith In God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit first and last. If EGW is in accord wtih that then I accept it and if not, I don't. We believe in the miracles of God, but we certainly aren't going to rush out to see Mary's face on the side of a building and worship it. We have to know the Word of God and test things out.

But what we need to know is the ONLY way Jesus Christ will appear is iin the clouds in His glory, and with the glory of the Father and all the angels of heaven. He will never set foot on earth. This is an interesting debate. I'm SDA but not convicted that Archangel Michael and Jesus Christ are the same personage. I do know that there is a new age group, called angels gate I think, where the head guy claims he speaks with Archangel Michael. I believe whoever he's speaking to be demonic spirits, not holy angels. In any case we do know that satan's agenda is to counterfiet the God's Truth and so the important thing to know is how Jesus Christ will truly appear at the end of time.

I am SDA and have never been taught this either and my grandfather is a pastor and I have asked him if we believe that and he said no. Stop making lies up about SDA just cause you dont like them. You do not bow to the Bible's clear declaration that Jesus is THE voice of THE arch- (chief, highest, most extreme) angel.
As a Jesus worshipper I know you can not admit Jesus is anything less than God, who is greater than any angel. That is why the scripture does not say "hoTheos" had the voice of the arch-angel. By deductive reasoning it can be concluded that Jesus is the arch-angel Micheal in heaven, as many here have proven and you have ignored.

vs. 3 "he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty in lofty places."
vs. 4 "So he has become better than the angels, to the extent that he has inherited a name more excellent than theirs."
"he has become better than the angels" Jesus is being compared to the angels, something God could never be compared to.

Michael may be Christ, as Jesus is. Christ simply means "Anointed One", in other words "Enlightened Trancendent Being" or "Vessel made fit to be filled with the Spirit of Truth".
Jesus is Lord and King. Michael is a Prince, a son of the King. A "Son of Thunder" as Jesus would say.

I meant no disrespect, but I am confused as to why Manoah and his wife bowed down to and sacrificed to the angel in Judges 13. It wasn't God in his full form because we know no one has seen God's full unveiled glory. (John 1:18) I don't think it was an ordinary angel because of how Gabriel reacted to John bowing to him.(Rev. 19:10, 22:9) Please correct me if my logic is wrong.

There is nothing to get around. Jesus is not the archangel. Jesus because he is God gives the command to raise the dead. That verse doesn't say the angels voice raises the dead. It doesn't matter what bible you use, it is Jesus who raises the dead.
Unless you use the clear word bible. "When Christ descends from heaven as the archangel, he will give a shout like a trumpet which is Gods call from the dead and those in Christ will rise first."

Dan 10:13 Michael is [ONE OF] the chief prince[s]. In this case he is prince of Israel, protector of it. It doesnt make him Jesus. In both cases the term [one of] and the word [princes] are plural meaning more than one. This would mean there are other chief angels and Michael is not the only one. How does one explain the plural forms? Meaning there are other chief princes?

If someone thinks Michael is Jesus, Dan 10:13 can't mean God has more Sons like Michael who you all say is Jesus? Does God have more Sons who are Archangels? Or More Sons like Jesus? Of course none of those answers would be true.
Or could it mean what it really says?
That Michael one of the chief princes came and helped Daniel. There are legions of angels in Heaven, Matt 26:53, and Dan 10:13 shows us there is more than one archangel and None of them are Jesus Christ.
