  • omg!! that was cool!!

  • that bend is supposed to be on the neck

  • As sloppy as the master Page, well done

  • Great job. really enjoyed it...

  • wrong bend

  • Accuracy grade "B-".

    Tone grade "A".

    Solo choice grade "A+"

  • regular...

  • wow!

  • On the first part try bending the G string past the nut. That's what Page did to get that wild bending sound.

  • On the first part try bending the G string past the nut. That's what Page did to get that wild bending sound.

  • Nem ta fora do tempo ._.

  • fun solo to learn - nice job

  • thanks alot.........

  • really good man

  • a little off tempo, but still good

  • ledzeppelinfreak13, the whole solo is in free time

  • You bended that note by, well bending it...

JP bended that note with pressing on the strings on the headstock...

I bend that note with my tremolo...

    Anyways fine...

  • Dude i honestly don't know this solo note for note and am no where near as good as u so dont take this like i think im better than u or something. but the first part jimmy bends the string behing the nut. look at him live for help. other than that stunning dude amazing.

  • i know about the string bend behind the nut,i actually did another video for this,i think its much better than this sloppy ass version, check it out if you have time........

  • awesome

  • it's not note for note, but it's pretty fuckin good.

  • Lol I too am a guy who plays guitar in his bedroom, but you know what you did alright. It's not perfect but that just gives you more of a reason to practice. You'll end doing alot better by practicing and even page probably never always played it perfect. Anyway great job man.

  • thanks bro,i actually posted another video of this, which i think sounds much better than this sloppy ass version, check it out, peace !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • holy shit your really good :P

  • in the second part it seems to be out of rythm but nice cover

  • pretty ironic.......stratplayer34 and then you play a les paul?? :P Anyway great solo

  • Nice. Finally someone who can play well and without an annoying backing track.

  • Lmao you do know there is no backing track at all for the solo. Everyone stops playing while Jimmy Solos.

  • Except for the entire second half of the solo.

  • I only listened to the first one and stopped watching I didn't realise that there was the 2nd solo in this video too.

  • yea thats the worse part none of its bad though

  • arent you cute

  • aww well hey next time you ass clowns meet up up for an orgy maybe he can play it for you in person..kiss kiss ladies!

  • Great job bro....

Check out my version of the solo to Whole Lotta Love

  • great job

  • you suck... you asshole

  • so does your mother u little punk, and not that well.

  • hey, dont get mad at me cause you and your shity guitar suck ass, and i know my mom sucks but i think its pretty good.. :P

  • the only thing i mad about is wasting my time with your dumb whore of a mother who didnt know how to suck a dick lol

  • faggot you do it better then this guy rules

  • hey fuck you at least he has the balls to play it unlike your pussy!

  • great attempt, we know its hella hard ! XD

    5 stars for effort

  • you got a flying V?

  • I find it weird that "stratplayer"34 is playing a gibson lp. Great solo work 2!

  • i also play a strat,hence the name,and a tele also.

  • i know that already. i was just jokin man.

  • You nailed it down,i'm impressed

  • and so you should be for being french :)

  • dude u played it spot on

  • i'm aware of that, this whole sloppy ass version sux,i did another version where i bend behind the nut, much better than this i think, check it out, peace!!!!!!!!

  • yea, you gotta bend behind the nut, also, you missed some pick strokes on the second solo. You should watch Vanderbilly for the second solo, he's got it right.

  • did you sell that les paul

  • no i did not,i would never sell this guitar,i love it!!!!!

  • i asked because my gibson looks like yours because your paint is heavy in spot that my paint is too

  • yea little less distotion

  • way tooo distortion... Good anyway ·D

  • it has open pickups there for it makes it a les paul classic

  • muito bom!!!

    100% led zeppelin!!

  • haha, stratplayer playing a lp 100. teehee... IRONY

  • lp 100 is a gibson les paul my Friend,,,,

  • Sounds pretty good but you got the gain too high and it's causing the other strings to vibrate and makes it sound sloppy.

  • Good, but it doesn't quite sound right without bending the strings behind the nut.

  • Really good!!!

  • Dude, That is so frikkin sick....

  • thanks bro..

  • wowow

  • thank you...

  • PERFECT, 5 STAR

  • thanks alot...

  • Great 5 stars

  • thanks i appreciate it..

  • wow

  • thanks....

  • awesome!! dude

  • Sweet!!!

  • thank you....

  • wow! that amazing! i doesnt matter if its not note for note cuz he origanally improvised it

    5 star!

  • thanks alot........

  • Great! How long have you been playing until you learn that?

  • nice

but the les paul helps u out its easy to play

  • great man check my version out.

  • phew!!! thats great!! well done i think it sounds great with the distortion :) great job u shud be proud:)

  • little too much gain there, makes for a lot of the ear bleeding thats happening for me right now

  • sorry dude i didn't mean to make your ears bleed,i know there is to much gain and distortion,i guess i didn't pay attention to the sound i was getting like i should have,i did post a second video of this which is much better and gentle on the ears then this sloppy ass version, check it out, peace!!!!!!!

  • very good but

at the beginning you must play with one hand do the hammer while you down and not do the bend quikcly

  • thats sounding great just watch your thumb for technique issues it will make things alot easier but that was just great man im not trying to criticise you just help you

  • I'm sure someone along the line has posted it, but I don't want to go through the comments at the moment, but at around 6 seconds to 10 seconds, you bend the string at the nut, and not just bend a fret like you did. Very good cover though.

  • yeah i know, alot of people have commented on that, which is why i posted another video bending it behind the nut, check it out i think its much better than this sloppy ass version.

  • real nice job man. maaaybe turn down the distortion a little bit. but nonetheless a great job

  • no man! this is really good but type in heartbreaker solo-jun626 if u havent seen it already holy shit this guy is jimmy page man hes awesome

  • of course i know jun626 he is amazing,i actually posted another take at this which i believe is much better then this, but everyone seems to watch this one,oh well.

  • if you thimk that...you must jun's version...

  • Good stuff, really enjoyed this...I've seen Jim do it quite a few times and sometimes he changes it a bit here and there...this version is as close as you need be...

  • great!

  • 0:06-0:10 isnt right. dont bend it, push the string down on the head between the nut and the tuning head.

  • yeah i know,i did another version, check that one out,i bent it behind the nut, peace!!!!!!!!

  • think is intense! you should have used a blues pedal. kick ass tho

  • are you saying that in a good way?

  • totally sweet. awesome in all respects. less distort is all i could possibly say about it

  • ihonostly wish i could critisize you on somthing, but my guitaring will never be as good as yours

  • Too much distortion!

  • too much distortion...

    anyway, nice job

it would be better with the real song playing, the timing would be more exact

  • thanks, but to be honest i hate this video i'm ready to take it down lol,i actually did another version which i think came out much better, check it out, peace!!!

  • NO!!!!!!!!! DONT TAKE IT DOWN OR ILL HATE U

its good...probably 100X better than me

how long have u been playing?

  • lol ok i leave it up,but only if you look at my other version of this its much better, and to answer your question on and off for 18 years probably more off than on,no lessons self taught, peace bro!!!!!!

  • Its pretty good, seems like there may be a little bit too much reverb or something on the guitar though, cuz the faster parts kind of get a little fuzzy... thats just my opinion though. Otherwise, great job.

  • "im just a guy in his bedroom".....i liked that one, lol!

  • nice enough I suppose, I mean it's all good and all that, unfortunately however...many inaccurate interpretations. (check vanderbilly &

jun626..these cats got it DOWN !)

  • i've been checking them out for a long time now, unfortunately not everyone can play as good as them,me being one of them lol,but if you read what i wrote about this video you would see i didn't think this was very accurate,as matter of fact i hate this video,i think its horrible,i dont know why so many people watch and or like it,anyway i did another version and while not perfect,i think its much better than this, check it out.

  • there is alot of good stuff in this version of yours as well, dude ! I figured right off that even in your own estimation, you would keep one up-ing your versions as a little time rolls by. I don't have a webcam, so I can't put my money where my mouth is presently. I think it is solid, and ballsey to put yourself out there because there are so many small minded, braindead, haters out there (that don't have ANY talent of their own, but dis other peoples talent).

  • nice guitar lose the pick guard tho

  • Wow this is awesome. What kind of amp/effects do you use/have going on here?

  • nice, but wrong in many parts

  • nice enough I suppose, unfortunately many inaccurate interpretations. (check vanderbilly & jun626..those cats got it down!)

  • yep, i creamed myself

  • this is pretty good

    not bad at all man

    nice job

  • man those open coil pickups sound good

  • lol u name sez strat player but thats an epiphone isnt it?

    any way AWESOME cover

  • its a gibson les paul classic 1960 reissue,if you look at my other video's i also play a strat, and thanks for the compliment.

  • absolutely,as matter of fact page recorded most of the first two albums with a telecaster.

  • really nice job

  • amazing!! but i think that you use too much distortion

  • i agree.

  • who cares about hes shirt hanging over the guitar,,thats a mighty fine cover of the solo

  • sorry but if your a weightlifter, shoudnt your pectorals be tight and muscle not fat as that is blatently.

    x

  • are you for real pal, thats my shirt hanging over my guitar.

  • Not bad for garbage.

  • your the second person to say that, its just my shirt hanging over the guitar, but i am a weightlifter so much chest is bigger than the average guy,why is everyone looking at that anyway, shouldn't we be concentrating on the guitar palying.

  • Where can I find out how to play just the part from 0:39-0:46? great job by the way.

  • too much distortion. you should keep the dial below 12 o'oclock. if you played a show with that kinda gain the people in the back would hear nothing but a constant "buzzzzzzzzzzzz"

  • damn- for a guy in his bedroom you nailed it!

juggler778 is right though- that's how I play it.

learned it that way - it gets better "sustain" than just bending the string- try it.

still, kickass stuff dude. ya got chops and you can PLAY! :)

  • your supposed to bend the string begind the nut at 00:09...

  • i know dude,i actually did another take of this, where i did bend behind the nut, give it a look its much better this sloppy ass version.

  • is it online yet? would like to check it out- thanks.

  • yes it is,check it out.

  • your amazing.

  • that was a good job. honestly im not gonna sit here and say that was bad.4 stars.check out mine. i learned note for note thanks to vanderbillydotcom

  • This is some excellent playing, man. Love your guitar, wish I had one of those babies. Awesome vid.

  • i love this solo!

  • loool. i just read the video info. that last line just maaaybe could be misread: "I'm not jimmy page....i'm just a guy in his bedroom" ;)

  • lol i guess your right,it could read a little weird.

  • Very good stuff, you got most of the parts right, 4 stars.

  • that was very good! too much distortion though...

  • Very good

  • great job on those pull-offs, but you need to start using the ball of your thumb to mute the open strings.

  • badass dude!!! that wasnt bad at all

  • fucking awsome thats pretty much exactly it

    LED ZEPPELIN RULE

  • the keyboard didnt come in till about 1980 when he started disguising it in songs like dancing in the street and the cradle will rock.but he made up the right handed hammerons way before.

  • eddie DID NOT play the keyboard before guitar, when he was a kid living in the netherlands he played classical piano but when he moved to the US still in his youth he switched to guitar and played rock and roll to fit in with the US.he made up the tapping in his teen years after seeing jimmy page perform this solo on the part where he pulls off to open strings.

  • jimmy page invented tapping, for some strange reason the the credit is given to eddie.

  • Jimmy page didnt invent tapping. Eddie saw jimmy doing his legato bit in the heartbreaker solo and got the idea to use his other hand too. Anyways, a guy named steve hackett from Genesis was believed to have started it. Ace Frehley of Kiss also used it before EVH.

  • 'believed to have started it'?...umm, paganinni ( an italian violinist/composer0 was doing it 200 years ago....and billy gibbons actually 'tapped' on a few early ZZ top songs...not to the extent that EVH did though

good day , and keep rockin'

  • Either way, Screw eddie.

    Jimmy Page> Eddie Van Halen

  • "actually, Eddy was inspired by the right hand tapping of flamenco guitarists "

You're an idiot. Eddy was inspired by watching him play this song live you idiot.

  • yea, i saw him say that in an interview featured on those "History of Rock 'n' Roll" DVD's
