The specialist is still played today and deserves the 1rst rank . I'm sorry but i've been playing it years and i can tell that this is far better than svencoop and ESF . Since i don't really know Natural selection i can't really judge there but TS is an unrated mod.

Yeah Firearms should have been on this list rather than They Hunger. Action Half-Life was ok but after The Specialists came out it became obsolete since TS had every feature AHL had except better.

It's sad no one remembers Front Line Force, sure it didn't last all that long before it died but it was definitely a lot of fun. Maybe they should do a video for good mods that no one remembers. Like Sience & Industries, or Bumpercars.

Ah, I remember FLF! I thought the graphics were so bad ass, I remember they had some great colours too. It played out like Firearms though, so I stuck with Firearms. Bumpercars was awesome too. Fun little game, good to pass the time. Remember that Conflict in 'Nam mod? Never got released... :(

Counter - Strike is a mod for Half Life 1, and it's free- So you just need Half Life 1. And yes, there are yet still many players playing CS.

i recommend you buy the source ones, the hl1 community is nearly dead except a few games with a limited # of players. go check it out on game-monitor to see what games still have communities

I can't believe the original Afraid of Monsters wasn't on there.

It defined Half-Life horror, and it was made by one person to boot. The Director's Cut version had a development team and several endings, realistic weapons system, better graphics.....

But what's better than knowing how it's gonna end while carrying a Knife, Beretta, Desert Eagle, Shotgun, AK-47, And hand grenade the entire way?
