This must be the first blastbeats (and even gravity-blasts !), released on a non-underground-album.1985 ! 2 years before Napalm Death´s and Carcass´ debuts ! Maybe, there were other bands before, that used blasts, but SOD established them. And Charlie Benante here plays the blasts more intense than most grindcore-drummers .(Don´t misunderstand this last sentence, I love Grind, I play guitar in a grindband, so no harm menat to grindcore !)
