@kittybookitty Yes there is :) She has 10 nipples, so even if she has 12 puppies, you can easily rotate the puppies so they all get equal amounts of food :)

@kittybookitty In the wild, the wolf eats the sac to hide the scent of the puppies, blood and labor from the predators, and the sac also provides a lot of nourishment to the mother :) It also helps contractions move along nicely :) Lots of good reasons!

@mimadog360 Oh it's super easy :) Males have their genitalia higher up on her tummies, and the females have their genitalia closer between their back legs.

Do you have to take them to the vet and get them cheaked ? i was told if you wish to breed a dog you need to spend alot of money , such as ... idunno ..uhm certificates? or somthing...

or do you just breed them and just help them deliver them in your own home?

@mimadog360 Yes it is quite costly to breed. Permits, certificates, veterinarian costs, licensing, food, medical and whelping supplies etc.

@mimadog360 No, you can't breed siblings. It is very high disapproved of, although in very rare cases, some Professional breeders have bred siblings, or parents to achieve a certain quality, but that was done under very strict and careful selection and should not otherwise be attempted.

@WQTinderWolf Hey there. It's very rare to have a black Golden Retriever puppy come out of a line so far down from it's ancestry. I've never heard of a case personally. But... nonetheless, strange "miracles" do happen in nature.

@10barca4ever Anywhere from 1-15. Just depends on the health of the dog, the pregnancy, the food she's eating, the potency of the male, the bloodlines etc. My average is about 11.

Every puppy has a placenta that comes out with each one. By instinct, the mom eats the placenta. They do this in the wild to protect the puppies, as well, as it does encourage more contractions.

It wasn't an organ. Just the placenta. Perfectly natural, and okay :)
