The SMB movie was awfull. It did do some things right, but they mashed too much of dinosour land together with the mushroom kindom to "give to everyone". In the end they messed up on alot because they could have went dark without ruinning the fantasy part. Its still fantasy, but too futuristic.

People who merely like the film, which I can agree they got some things right, go overboard on the stereotypes on what we mean on more akin to the game. We mean, better story not on mocking an occupation as if its important to look at (the anime had him as a clerk ro friggin sake), no dinos, more epic like the anime and animetronics. Would have saved it from making under the budget as Mario.

really, its a base too simple that one can interpret better for better presentation towards an audience. Its the same genre of fantasy as Narnia, Wizard of Oz and Alice in WonderLand. So you see now what they could have done...oh wait, you don't...why...oh, he's not a rocket scientist or lawyer? Not like its a movie all centered around plumbing. Just like in those other stories, they are lessers in scociety that go into a new world of fiction. Can be family too after all.

The 1987 TMNT was pretty much like most movie and cartoon show counterparts of video games, movies and others. Of course Luigi in the movie should of had a mustache, that's like saying the 1987 TMNT shouldn't be driving them clown cars (which I'm talking about the Turtle Van and Turtle Blimp), while they also should of been a lot darker. Why? While the SMB film is quite loosely based on the video games, the 1987 TMNT was loosely based on the 1984 TMNT comics.

I love Pixels to Plastic show (and all other shows in RWtv family), but being complitely honest, I really didn't enjoy Super Mario movie. I loved it as a kid, but now you see it really doesn't have anything to do with Super Mario franchise.. Except some names slapped on to make it feel like it does. Great episode by Mandalorian as always.
