For saying you're not good with AMVs, this is quite great actually. Nice use of following lyrics, and even musical energy for most of it. Both with well timed edits and natural timings lined up too. It was a natural connection between lyrics and theme, and you did a good job conveying it. Thumbs-up.

Well, thank you very much. This AMV is very old actually and back then, I wasn't too good for making them. I've improved a lot meanwhile, though. But those kind of comments, even for an old video like this one, always make me smile happily. So, many thanks. By the way, by curiosity I visited your channel and was like "omg, another rurouni Kenshin fan" and "omg, cute Zack and Cloud drawings". I might comment this video, it really deserves attention <3

How funny, Kenshin and Fruits Basket were my first manga. I also had the first volume of Nausicaa by Miyazaki before those two, but I completed this series after Kenshin.

Same here, it was a long time ago but Kenshin is still one my favorite manga and I cherish it as a beautiful memory. I'm becoming nostalgic here x')

Well now, I am officially in love with this song, for I have heard it for two straight hours, playing this video over and over again. Also, I like this couple now and I got an idea for a future cute yet tragic fanfic for them. Ah, the beauty of this pairing. The lyrics "light up, light up. As if you had a choice." remind me of Zack's inner light, as if Cloud is marveling at him for his character. Oh zack, Oh Cloud...ah. Wonderful characters, wonderful video.

Nice job, my only comment is that you should look into making AMVs that have no subtitles, as AMV watchers have an unstoppable habit of reading subtitles and not paying attention to the video as closely as they could. Other than this it is a quality AMV. Keep up the good work!
