  • Hm...I expected Blue Submarine 06 from the title...

I was going to comment on how invigorating it was to stumble upon an oasis, even if I never went to it myself, but that little 'sign' at the end stole my attention. No life without death, I guess...

  • Indeed, finding that much open water in the desert is very rare. The tank appeared artificial (banked on one side, probably dug deeper, and more recently than the Butterfield Stagecoach; probably for livestock, prior to 2000 when the area was re-designated. But without a windmill+pump to keep drawing water, it's a really impressive natural well.)

Sorry if the last bit was off-putting.

  • Oh, no, I wasn't put off. I'm no stranger to dead animals (lots of stray cats at home).

  • good review. i think i saw this at bookman's in mesa for like $10. i'll try and go this weekend and find it

  • You sir a AWESOME...

    Your style is still refreshing...

  • Great review, it's always nice to hear about some of the more niche titles that tend to fly under the radar.

  • Same here. I agree. Nice to hear some honest reviews about the more niche released in the US and the occasional Japanese DVD's that don't make it here, not to mention all the great older series that got no love...

  • Good review. It looks like a nice anime.
