To continue in my previous post, Suzaku lost on purpose, meaning that he could've won (albeit with some difficulty) if he really wanted to. Also, the "Live on" Geass doesn't fully control Suzaku, as lelouch makes the statement that Suzaku is the only one he knows who can use a Geass command to his advantage, using it at will.
Seeing the discussion in this video, I have to wonder if any of you actually saw this series. Does no one remember the flashback during Lelouch's death, where Lelouch tells him that his curse is to live on as Zero? Suzaku had to stage his death against Kallen (who btw figured out that Zero was Suzaku, and that Lelouch had planned not only his own death, but Suzaku's as well) in order to live on as Zero, the hero to the Japanese people.

And ideally they shouldn't be one man army untouchable super machines that kill all like we've had since SEED (although AGE does seem to be fixing that). The original was just a suit that had better specs then most and yet grunts could still give it a run for it's money and even threaten it. It was about skill which is the reason I respect Kallen. She always out shined Suzaku on an even playing field.

@kevfilms2x2 I'll concede that I forgot about the learning computer as I haven't seen MSG in a while, but I'm not seeing anything that says Lancelot is equipped with one. And yes she's the better pilot. By the final battle Suzaku has "Live On" engaged and it effectively making him even more of a superhuman then he already was. Kallen doesn't have any supernatural enhancement. Does that stop her from matching him blow for blow? No it doesn't. She stood up to his hax with sheer skill.
Continue from what i said, She knew she could not take all three of them so she Disabled both knightmares just so she can take on suzaku. Suzaku however still held his own against Kallen. The only thing that was slowing him down though was the gefjun net. If the Gefjun net wasnt in the way, then he would give her a fight (only he would have won with ease).Bradley only lost due to kallen having a superior knightmare, if she was using her flight enable guren she would have died.

@kevfilms2x2 Also the Lancelot Albion may have more weapons if you include those Varis rifles but it certainly does not have a better arsenal. The Guren SEITEN also has a Maser Vibration Sword that is evidently more powerful than the Lancelot's as it cut the conquista's in half. Further more it can also use its radiant wave surge as a gun. Finally, no where in the anime that Luminous shielding is better than RW Shielding.

Hell the second arm was weaker then the first and that fight was against an even more upgraded suit. Lancelot and Guren are nearly equal in specs so giving lancelot an advantage like flight almost guarantee's victory despite fighting a superior pilot. And what happened once Guren got it's flightpack upgrade? Kallen came back head on and started overwhelming the Knights of Round.

@CascadeTheWarrior Actually, because of the Zero Requiem, the plan was to have Suzaku "die" so he could take Lelouch's place as Zero. He was in full control of the fight, and lost on purpose. He didn't get a butt-wooping, he was following a well-coordinated plan.

So no he was not "in full control" of the fight, no he did not lose on purpose, and yes he did receive a nice ass-whooping from Kallen. It appeared that he died but it was not planned, since the "live" command was still on him he would have been forced to kill Kallen because the command will make him do whatever it takes to live.

Guren is just based on Char's Zaku II custom.

@kevfilms2x2 Also the Lancelot Albion may have more weapons if you include those Varis rifles but it certainly does not have a better arsenal. The Guren SEITEN also has a Maser Vibration Sword that is evidently more powerful than the Lancelot's as it cut the conquista's in half. Further more it can also use its radiant wave surge as a gun. Finally, no where in the anime that Luminous shielding is better than RW Shielding.

Hell the second arm was weaker then the first and that fight was against an even more upgraded suit. Lancelot and Guren are nearly equal in specs so giving lancelot an advantage like flight almost guarantee's victory despite fighting a superior pilot. And what happened once Guren got it's flightpack upgrade? Kallen came back head on and started overwhelming the Knights of Round.

So no he was not "in full control" of the fight, no he did not lose on purpose, and yes he did receive a nice ass-whooping from Kallen. It appeared that he died but it was not planned, since the "live" command was still on him he would have been forced to kill Kallen because the command will make him do whatever it takes to live.
