Second, West Virginia has a democratic governor, two democratic senators, two democratic representatives and the state legislature is heavily democratic. Third, old democrats usually got 80 or 90% of the vote in dixie states, until the 1950s. No republican wins with such huge margins. Ok, explain this. Why is that blacks are conservative on issue like gay marriage, abortion, gun rights, the death penalty, immigration and don't vote Republican? Is it that the Republican party is not inviting to blacks? Is that blacks are so dependent on social policies of the Democrats? I bet you if black people started voting Republican, you would see Southern whites leave the party and vote Libertarian or go Democrat again. I hope I am wrong.
