Um, my friends PC has a whole lot of viruses and I would like to just re-install windows 7 on it, and I was wondering, will i need a whole new copy of windows 7?

coz I have a windows 7 disc, but I used the code for my computer. Can I use that same disk on his computer to just re-install?

because he already has windows 7 on it

Its funny how i dont have that on my cd the recovery and i have Windows 7 Ultimate but if i say in BIOS to run DVD drive first then hard drive i have to wait for it to pass DVD then it boots otherwise if HDD is first then it says Bootmgr is missing. Thanks Microsoft =)

i got the your computer was unable to start message when i was booting up my computer running windows vista! reason: my brothers friend wanted to hook up all the cords from my PC to his xbox 360 and i was mad and startup repair would not work so i had to re-install windows D:<

@kn1b1s95 you can download and burn it. As long as you don't actually install Windows 7 using this illegal version I don't think Microsoft nor anyone would mind.

if it wont find your OS, then start up repair will not fix it. if your computer comes with a porgram called something like recovery disc creator or recovery media creator, that will fix it. the discs will also install windows on a blank hard drive.

it does only when u entered on a site withe error or stuff or when you're booting and want to restart PC

just ignore it just let him to do the repair and done it will 100% say We're sorry but Microsoft Didn't maked a repair to repair or heal your problem!

why aftr i downloading games that requires installshield, it says installshield error -5 and i cant open the game launcher, it'll show installing instead of the game. I've uninstall a few times alr but no use pls help

@TheThunder1989 when you had you computer running b 4 it would not go on did it say in the bottom right corner that its a copy righted windows 7 ? or did it show keys and a black screen as your back ground be cause that happens to me to. and every time i run a check point it will not work, also the repair doed not work eather

well the instuctions is not done right. I got a net book that is not designed to boot off on a external dvd burner. and Dose not have a internal the boot up partition is murdered F3-7200-0002 errror comes up.

File \boot\memtest.exer is bad or missing error

there is no way to get in to the hidden partion of the hard drive and fix it. there is no driver support and no tech support., if you buy Toshiba and Hewelett Packard,. the chances of getting a dead computer from opening the box is dead

@pikabko1 Am i talking about netbooks =) No, but you got your problem, yeah. Indeed Toshiba and Hewelett Packard are not the factories where you would expect the most support from. I'll say buy a netbook, notebook or PC from not Toshiba or HP.
