notepad. do stuff like create:water, 10x10, blue, coolshader, end. then you must remember to save as .exe when you're done. halo and call of duty are like the best games ever, so I made a mix of the two using notepad. of course it takes some time but it's worth it!!!

Some morons use programs like game maker which don't teach you anything.

And McKack that's not even close.

Programming takes time to learn, in Java (which is one of the easy languages) I made a simple 2D space invaders type game (which isn't done by the way) and it's almost 800 lines long.
