Geoff might not be the greatest singer, but he can actually sing and stay in key. He may veer off notes in performances, but as pretty much everyone's said on this comment page so far, he is giving his absolute all in putting across the emotion and character of the lyrics. That's what makes him such a great vocalist, because he does the songs justice in that respect. I've said before, Thursday don't express emotion, they are SYNONYMOUS with emotion.

I saw these guys for the third time two months ago and it was pretty much the same: very energetic, but every breath was heard. Having tons of energy on stage is awesome and inevitable in this genre, but you have to bottle it sometimes so the vocals don´t suffer. That said Thursdays shows are awesome and they give me a reason to ditch the suit and push some kids around.
