Memorial Day - The Sighting

i believe the first one was a bald eagle, the second looks to be a osprey,they will hover like that, the black one looks to be a turkey vulture. just to let you know there is a bald eagle nest on the wesport river. i was down at allens pond in wesport a few weeks ago, spotted two bald eagles. check that area out for shots. thanks for sharing

I don't think that's an Eagle. I grew up on Vashon Island, in the Puget Sound, and i had the privilage to watch 3 generations of Bald Eagles grow up. They don't hover like that from what I remember....

Wasn't 100% sure about it, and we've had a couple of them sighted recently around town. It was a particularly windy day here on Memorial Day.

I think it just might be. :) There have been a couple of sightings of one in my area recently, and it sure looks the part. I'm not 100% sure that it is, but I definitely plan to find out.
